Oh no! I really hope you find it again soon. ;; The best thing to do with any game cartridges you have when you're done using them is put them back in the box and put it on a shelf or have like a case to put them in (which is what I do), but still, that's just a word of advice for the future, since fortunately I haven't lost any games! Awh, I remember similar happening to me with ACWW, went on holiday, arrived and couldn't find it, or any of my other games, was convinced they were stolen or something for months and then when we went to redecorate my room months later we found my games case somehow in the lining of the bottom of my bed.

It'll turn up, :3 And hopefully all your villagers will still be there and be happy to see you return.

Sorry for like, yelling, but really, I like New Leaf better now and I can't imagine that feeling...you'll have to find it though! Here's a few tips:
Where was the last place you went out of the house? Did you bring New Leaf with you?
Have you looked everywhere? Under the bed, in closets, your entire house?
Do you remember putting it anywhere? Try to retrace your footsteps if you can.

I lost my favorite game (well, it was before New Leaf released) and after MONTHS I found it again...and now it's lost AGAIN.
