ACNH: Advice?

Also if I had to give you some advice:
  • Don't feel pressure from those perfect islands on Instagram, Youtube or Pinterest because they might make you feel as you've achieved nothing and might get you to burn out. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.

That's another good piece of advice! Animal Crossing games are one of the least competitive games ever, but I still see people feeling like they're "behind" or like someone else's island is "beating" theirs. But that's just not how the game works!

See, I'm a lot more likely to lose the physical copy, lol. I used to like the feeling of a real game copy, but now that I have a memory card and memory isn't an issue, I have to admit it's nice to be able to switch games without having to switch out a cartridge.

Also, you should be able to buy games on the Switch (I've been doing it nowadays since I'm lately and I can usually play them a little earlier than if I get a physical copy) without an online membership. I'm 99.9% sure I did. You just need a Nintendo ACCOUNT, which is 100% free to create, I believe. But obviously only if you'd prefer them like that.
I'm not buying a memory card so I won't have a lot of space unfortunately.

I'm actually really proud of my quarantine ACNL town, which is new! I do compare myself and fell really bad often though, so I will take that advice.

My biggest advice is don’t worry if you end up having burn out and doing minor things in your town. Since NH is more design orientated then talking to animals/doing daily work, don’t be surprised when you look at what’s you’ve put down and instantly hate it.

Plus there’s been times when I’ve missed a day playing, or two, because I just couldn’t be bothered putting the game on. It isn’t for the lack of content, I just didn’t have anything to do or warrant me playing.

But I’d highly suggest picking an island you’d like, since there's Areas you can’t move and have to therefore build around.

I bought a switch and Animal Crossing: New Horizons about a month ago! I wasn't on this forum for a while because there were some technical difficulties (I forgot my password and it was sending the emails to junk lol) but I love the game!!! Idk if I like New Leaf or New Horizons better!
