About villagers of the same personality

I have both Marshal and Zell too and they immediately came to mind! Zell seems much more egotistical and spends all his time singing. Marshal spends more time indoors and seems a little bit less big headed, but maybe a little less friendly too, but I prefer him. I’ve never been the biggest fan of the smug personality anyway, so I’ll only have one as time goes on. I have two Jocks and Genji is less naive than Dom, Dom spends a lot of time just running and Genji spends a lot more time working out, but their expressions make a difference there because they are so different. Also, of the normals I’ve had, Molly talked about books a lot more than Skye and Fauna do, but I can see less difference between them overall.

Yes I totally get that! I also had 3 normals at once and they were the most similar as well!

Now that you mention it, yes actually! I have two peppies and two normals, and they are VERY similar dialogue wise (the lack of dialogue variety kind of bums me out in general lol) but they have quite different hobbies and activities!

Savannah LOVES to sing, it's the cutest thing. She also will often go bug catching or sit under trees. Meanwhile, Marcie is always watering flowers for me ;w; And wandering the island, I mean like multiple times I had to search the whole island for her, and once I didn't ever find her... that was before I knew animals could go inside the museum though

Audie works out a lot and also spends a lot of time in her house. Both seem a little odd to her personality... gives her kind of a quirky feel lol. Like she's peppy, yet shy xD Nibbles on the other hand really likes to smell flowers or Naruto run. I don't think I've seen her work out once.

I have two peppys Bangle and apple and they both say some of the same stuff so that’s annoying but my two normals flurry and Melba seem different enough. Although I’ve only had Melba a few days

I have Biskit, Bones, Lucky, and Walker. Biskit is either running or sitting down drinking something. Bones usually isn't outside. Lucky runs a lot. Walker doesn't run, but I've seen him lift weights.

i’ve got 3 smugs and they all act differently - marshal is more of a softie and is always complimenting me, henry is full of himself and loves sitting everywhere and shep is more toned down and really likes crafting lmao

I have 2 peppies, Sprinkle and Rosie. I get the same dialouge from both but Rosie sometimes says things that Sprinkle never does.
I also noticed that Rosie loves sitting down and having a snack but i never see her running around, unlike Sprinkle who loves pretending to be an airplane.

yes! apple and audie seem completely different to me (maybe because of their design), as well as blanche and freya! i can't really explain it!

I have two smugs on my island (Eugene and Ed) and I noticed that they seem to act pretty different from each other. I usually see Eugene working out or singing meanwhile I haven't seen Ed do either of those and I've had him for longer. Ed seems more inclined to water the flowers and read books.

I have two Lazy villagers on my island (Zucker and Beau - yes, I'm very fortunate, I know!) and I do notice that they seem to talk about or at least emphasize different things. Beau always points out whether he thinks a piece of furniture belongs inside/outside or not. I've never seen this dialogue from my Zucker. Zucker, on the other hand, talks a lot about the bugs in his floor. I've only seen Beau mention that once or twice.

I have Chief and my girlfriend has Wolfgang and they both seem to have two totally different personalities, even though they're both cranky villagers! It's amazing honestly. I'm glad there's variety even within the same bracket of personality types.

who knows the logic behind it, but beau is so much more interesting and sweet with diverse dialogue to me than papi is to me? papi i have loved forever so its strange to see myself not talking to him ans kinda thinking about letting him move on ?? because of it.

Not really, but i have two Normal villagers: Mitzi, and Norma. What i find quite different about two of them is that i feel like their voices are a little bit different. Mitzi has slightly higher-pitched voice than Norma's voice, but i don't know if it's true or not or am i just too tired lol

 

[Bugs]

Stitches and Cube are both lazy villagers but they act completely different and even seem to talk differently! Stitches is very active for a lazy, he's always looking for bugs and Naruto running around the town, but then he doesn't seem to actually exercise very often whereas Cube is usually sat around, occasionally exercising and seems to talk more about food than Stitches does. They seem like totally different characters honestly

I have Dobie and Static as cranky villagers and I get different vibes from both of them. I like them both enough that they'll probably both be permanent residents on my island. Dobie seems much older than Static. He's like the old, retired professor. And Static is the middle aged dude still trying to live out his dream of being a rockstar. I also have three normal villagers and Melba seems to be the most engaged with other villagers. She and Ed were running around pretending to be airplanes together. Marina sings more, and Tia tends to be more reserved and keep to herself more.

definitely! i have both Stitches and Zucker on my island, and ive noticed that Stitches behaves quite a bit..weirder. he talks about bugs all the time, while Zucker has only mentioned them once or twice at most. he mentions toys a lot too - he seems almost younger, while Zucker talks more about being lazy and liking food, in classic Lazy fashion. Zucker is also constantly singing with Marina, even though Marina and Stitches are neighbours, and Zucker lives on the beach on the other side of my island!

I have some villagers that share the exact same dialogue. Raddle, Doc, and Lucky seem to have the same lines about bugs, snacks, food, etc. that are different from other lazy villagers.

That's really funny because I have Stitches too and he CONSTANTLY talks about the bugs... Though I don't really have anything to compare it to because I haven't had any other Lazies until I picked up Rodeo just today

I've always thought that villagers of the same personality had slight differences, but I had assumed I was just imagining it lol. Would be cool if it's true that they actually do!

I have 3 crankies (Fang, Chief and Roscoe) and I used to have 3 smug (Marshal, Julian and Raymond). For the most part I find them to be really similar. Dialogue for sure. However, what sets them apart by far has to be their houses and fashion sense. So even through they have pretty much the same personalities, they're still special in their own way!

I have 3 peppies(Audie,Chrissy and Ruby) and they are pretty much similiar. They all talk about being popstars but i think Ruby talk least. Also Ruby never work out and I feel Audie is always I have also 2 lazy Chester and Zucker. Chester talks always about his bugs!
