About the Public Poll

I've asked this question before, but who is in charge of the "public poll" on the main page?

I love those polls, but I think they could be changed out more often, or they could be used for the benefit of TBT. Maybe the TBT team could ask questions to help with decisions for the site... or maybe just something fun like people's favorite snack. I dont know

Basically, the same poll for months gets old and doesnt do anybody any good.

tbh, I've just had that disabled on my end for so long that I legit forgot it was a thing

I think it's just vibes based on when it gets changed and what to though. still, months without a change is kinda long. hopefully there's a shift for people who do have it enabled soon

I didnt know you could disable that, at least from my phone when I visit the site.

But I think you are adding to my point @LambdaDelta... is there any interest? It doesn't seem like it, but it's a good resource for the Mods to use if they wanted to.

it's in the preferences section of your account

specifically the remove sidebar option

(I have both options enabled, as it gives it the cleanest look imo, with the bonus of having the closest feel to tbt 2.0's layout)

Hellooooo!

The poll on the home page is changed occasionally by an admin! The polls are generally related to Animal Crossing and they're just chosen from polls that have already been created in one of the Animal Crossing boards. I imagine they're being changed a bit less frequently at the moment because there aren't too many new Animal Crossing polls being created.

That said, it's worth considering using that panel for non-AC polls! I personally like the AC focus, so maybe I need to think of some more poll ideas so we can change it out more frequently. I'd be interested to know what polls other people would like to see, whether they prefer AC or otherwise!

Honestly, I would be okay with literally any questions, if they didnt last for months on end
