About the new Animalese Voice...

New Horizons has offered alot of great features so far, but there's one little thing that kinda bothers me, that is the new Animalese voice. Personally, i find the new one a little bit off and kinda expressionless, and i think it sounds kinda similar with the one in Gamecube version but i don't really know, i've never played that version before i only watched people playing it. I still prefer New Leaf animalese voice to the new one

But at the end of the day, i'll get used to it. What do you guys think about the new Animalese voice?​

YES it is a very minor thing but i'm so not used to the way they sound! it feels like a lot of the villagers sound the same as opposed to having different pitches and speeds definitely prefer the new leaf animalese as well, but it's not a huge turn off or anything for me

I prefer the new voices, I'm not sure how to describe it but they sound a lot.. softer? It's just easy on the ears, it's kind of like ASMR to me lol

They did seem to speak a little too quickly though.

i didn't get to check any videos out as yet but i'll scour through the forums a bit lol, but from what i remember, i did think they sounded a bit higher and faster? it wasn't that noticeable but i do prefer new leaf as well! i think this is minor but probably something we'd kinda go about not really noticing anymore as we play!

I strangely prefer the new ones, they actually seem more expressive to me -- perhaps more mature sounding?

i also think they are too quick and too high but ill get used to it i guess

It's too quick. I can't as easily distinguish the letters they're speaking, and can't pick up any actual "words" now.

I was hoping they actually went back to the sound they made in the GameCube version. I could be overthinking it but it had more personality to me than other games. This one is a little high pitched for my taste, as others had said.

It'll take some getting used to, but it's easier on the ears, for sure.

I haven't heard too much because all the gameplay I've seen has had some narration over the top XD But I'm looking forward to meeting the villagers and hearing their voices. Additionally, how their tunes sound when we mess around with the town tune

The only thing I noticed was Boots' voice pitch was a little higher than I expected/would have liked, and wonder how cranky villagers will sound. Otherwise, I like the gentleness of the new Animalese and actually found I could "make out" more words - I thought it was actually slower than New Leaf, but maybe that's because I'm used to button mashing every conversation
