A moving question❔

Hi everyone, in my cycling town Serenity Rosie is leaving tomorrow. Yesterday she told me she was moving just after I asked Whitney to move in from my campsite. I loaded my game today and Whitney has not plotted, is this because Rosie is leaving tomorrow? Maybe my game is just taking it's time lol xD​

I think it can take a couple days for someone from your campsite to move in. Nothing to worry about

maybe wait 2 or 3 more days until you see the plot.

I have found it can take up to 5 days for a villager from the campsite, it's only when you ask them to move in from another town that they appear the next day

it always takes me 2 days for a camper to move in. apparently it's not such a regular pattern with everyone else. i think it can take up to five days, maybe more.

i once saw chester's plot on the title screen, but after loading my town i couldn't find the plot anywhere. then a week or two later the plot was back for real, in the same spot as it was on the title screen before. i don't know if that has anything to do with how long a villager can take to move in (chester was a random move-in, not a camper). i guess the first time i saw the plot, the game started planning his move-in and it just picked a random day to set his plot down for real? idk, this game is weird when it comes to villagers.

Wow aha that was weird and yeah I swear villagers were not this complicated in previous versions, I liked in Wild World that you could convince a villager to stay even though they were in boxes. If that was an option in New Leaf I would still have all my dreamies

Oh okay lol I am cycling in that town so she will probably be there after a couple cycles

It'll probably will just take until the day Rosie's plot is gone, but I'm pretty sure you get a letter if they don't move in. If you don't get one, I think you're safe.

It'll probably will just take until the day Rosie's plot is gone, but I'm pretty sure you get a letter if they don't move in. If you don't get one, I think you're safe.
