A bit disappointed we didn't get the update this week.

I think they might announce it in the last week of June and the update will be accessible in July.
I'm pretty sure that something new needs to happen in July with the way they've been going about updates. It only makes sense since the wedding event will be over and there will officially be no new content then.

I agree I am ready for another update, however I would rather wait for a good, big update with both permanent additions (such as what we got with Lief/Redd) and good, short events (like the May Day maze). Bunny day, the stamp rally, and the Reese & Cyrus events dragged on for long enough they were no longer fun. Hopefully Nintendo has been listening to fans and have caught on.

I'd be willing to bet diving comes next... it just feels like a summer update, you know? I'd love to see the cafe soon, but that also just feels like some for when the weather cools a bit. I would like it sooner as opposed to later, though- I want to be able to plan where to put it!

also hoping that the next big update will be to implement brewster/the roost into the game. i'd like to get rid of this little outdoor cafe/placeholder that i made earlier on in my gameplay since i had a feeling he'd be coming round in the game sooner or later. end of the month is looking promising for the update to begin rolling out.

i'm struggling to find patience to wait for a new event lol. the wedding is cute (in theory), but reese won't even request any other theme of wedding other than 'pink and cute'. -_- it makes every single item customization and variation feel really redundant.
but i'm excited for diving! i'm hoping kapp'n will return too! ((i said this in another post but i'm also hoping for a cute summer festival like the one they had in the movie))

Ooh, I'd LOVE access to the cute little foods and drinks my villagers run around with Today I got a great pic of Plucky enjoying a popsicle, and Cleo was looking adorable with some peach juice~

I mean, eating fruit has an actual purpose now (and so do toilets, which amuses me way too much), why couldn't they release more food to enjoy? With the same or even unique uses? And where better to get it than the cafe?
