A BIG DAY FOR MY ISLAND

I FINALLY got my first blue rose today!!! I was bound and determined to breed them myself rather than trading for them (much like how I play the rest of the game). What a PROCESS though honestly but the animal crossing gods have blessed my stubborn ass and after eight freaking months of playing (usually two weeks on, two weeks off) I finally got one. HALLELUJAH

Congrats! It took me a long time to find the right combo as well, so I understand how frustrating this was and hence, why this such a big accomplishment . I ended up finding the right combo for the red hybrid roses (which gave me my first blue rose) from a random post I found in the airport. I remember seeing some replies explaining some other different combos to get them that I didn't see in the guide that I was using.

It was definitely a lot of trial and error, especially when I would take breaks from the game and forget what step I was on or which guide I was using. I finally found a more reliable/higher probability method on here and tried it out, which is how I got my blue rose

Congratulations on your blue rose. It took forever for me to get one as well. I did almost give up and buy one but one did finally show up. I think it felt better getting one myself then buying one even though it took awhile.

Congrats on the blue rose! From my experience the first few are the hardest to obtain; after you get around 10 they start multiplying like crazy!

Congrats! I got mine by accident from two orange roses. I wasn’t trying to breed my own blue rose because the steps seemed way too complicated. I had given up and bought one for my rainbow garden.
