3DS Charging Port Broken

From the first picture, it seems like that the charger slot is bent slightly upwards, which explains why your 3DS console no longer charges.

There appears to have no issue with your charger itself, so it might work with another DSi/3DS hardware. Do test the charger on another 3DS just in case it's the fault of the charger itself. If it works on another system, then it's time to replace your system.

The first thing you'd want to do is to use the charger plug and lower the charger port's black and gold pin by tugging it down. If that doesn't work, there's a video below that explains the first method, along with another method.

If all of that doesn't work for you, then it's time to either get your device replaced by Nintendo or purchase another 3DS and call a Nintendo rep to transfer your data between systems.

If worst comes, you'll need to at most replace the charging port. I've done this myself a few times for different people but it does require some know how and I definitely don't recommend trying it yourself if you've not done it before - my best suggestion would be to take it to a third party repair store. Nintendo charge quite a lot considering the price of the components, third party stores will charge more reasonably from what I've seen, but of course it's totally up to you.
