3 things you hate and love about your island

The rocks on the upper western side of my beach leave very little walking room let alone room to decorate. I hate that.
I also have two river mouths on the southern part of my beach. I dislike the mouth on the left. I'd rather have it facing west, imo.
Other than that, the rest I absolutely love. I quite like where my resident services is located and where my peninsula is located.

love:
1. i'm so proud of a lot of the places i've decorated around my island + my island theming is coming together really well!
2. i love all my villagers sm and i'm so excited to keep meeting new ones (i've decided to not say no when villagers ask to move out, mostly)
3. my plaza lines up with my airport, which is nice! i built a whole cliff area in front of the airport though, so it's not actually a big deal (would look just as nice if things didn't line up), but i still like it!
hate:
1. not really a hate, but sometimes i worry that i take TOO much inspo from other islands. i don't ever outright copy, but i am heavily inspired in some parts of my island and i mostly use other creator's designs. not that there is anything wrong with this (and animal crossing is for sharing, and we all take inspiration from each other), but i think i'd feel less insecure if i did more strictly by myself?? if that makes sense??

3. not a hate! but i'm struggling a little with my two southward river mouths. i originally chose my island mostly FOR the mouths, but i do have some trouble trying to design bc of the two thinner strips of land on the left and right. i think i'd feel less bad about this if i hadn't read a lot of people's opinions on the forum that they hate their two southward river mouths gahh. it's definitely not reset-worthy (i'm not the type to reset anyway- i'm very very attached to this island just bc it's my first new horizons island, and i don't think i'll ever reset), but i guess now i'm noticing more downsides to it.

think this is such a good exercise, much better than just getting upset over/bashing/comparing your island!
cons:
- my resident services is so. close to the airport. and i really wish it wasn't, it's in such an awkward place.
- sue me but i'm kinda not in love with native peaches.
- i can't figure out how to landscape my shopping area and just feel like a lot of my island is clumped together.
pros:
- i love, love, love my villagers.
- my island has come such a long way and it's turning out really cool - for example my rainbow flower field.
- my beaches are so spacious.
