2017 Cake

Does anyone know if it's a new in game item or a Spotpass/DLC item? New Year's is already done and over with and I'd hate to miss out on a cool cake. It came out as part of the Welcome amiibo Update so you'd think we'd have it by now.

Sad that its out in Japan only. I hope that we'll get it soon.

Getting a 2017 cake in say.... February would be pretty pointless. Like "Yay.... nobody cares that its the new year anymore........."

Darn! Japan always gets all the good stuff! Oh well, I'm sure some nice people out there can "get it" for anyone who wants one plus all the other exclusive stuff. Also I agree it would be silly to get it in the future when it isn't New Year's anymore.
