Voted Onto The Island - Life on Wawanakwa Island

Day 0, Part 1...

Oh, boy. I'm so nervous. I never flew on a plane before. But here I am, about to hit the skies for the first time...
Upon looking at the ticket in my hand, I nervously approach the counter.

Who am I? Well, most people call me Sleepy, so that's who I usually go by.

I'm just gonna spare the details, all they wanted was to take my picture for the passport, no biggie.


Do I get a bag of peanuts as well?

Upon hitting the skies, I almost instantly dozed off. It was gonna be a 7 hour flight, might as well sleep it off. Ironic, I know.

...

I soon stirred awake to see that we were about to approach our destination... All in all, the flight wasn't that bad. I did stir awake at a couple of points, and noticed that two other passengers boarded from two separate stops. The first of which resembled a bunny, who was nose-deep in a manga. I would had started conversation with them, but sleep was quickly overtaking me...

The second passenger? She was quite interesting, being... She was a mother. Which raises a question...

What kinda mom brings their kid onto a deserted isle?


Now that I'm more awake, maybe I can introduce myself proper?


Yeah, perhaps I should follow them. Race ya, bunny dude!


Am I ready? I hope so... This is basically home now.

Day 0, Part 2

Soooo, after Nook says stuff about pitching your tent and some other stuff. I do have an idea in store, a temporary idea. For now, they'll be centered in a campground-like area, until I can move their houses to other places around the island.

For now, though let's get to know our fellow neighbors! First up, is "Mom of the Year"!

Sylvia's alright. But I do want to make sure this isle is also safe for her kid.

Up next is the manga-reading bunny, Genji!

Now with that settled, time to toss the tents down.


With that settled, time to head back to the plaza...

Where it is suddenly late afternoon? Wow, time flies by fast.




After gathering an island's worth of pears, as well as enough branches (And de-weeding much of the island...)



Maybe it is pears?

More than enough! Hope I can find some more awesome fruit rather than pears...
