Toy day presents, will villagers keep them?

With the upcoming Toy Day I'm kind of starting to worry,

as I do want to give all my villagers what they want.

But they want furniture in colors that would not match with they other furniture.

So my question is will they really keep the presents that I have to deliver for Jingle and destroy they house theme or not?

You never know with villagers, man. Sometimes they'll keep things for ages and sometimes they'll sell or give things away the minute they receive them. I've kinda stopped caring too much about house themes since they seem so keen on wrecking their homes. I say give 'em their Toy Day presents. ~

Mine got exactly what they asked for, but have traded or put up in re-tail. Again, you do not buy the gifts!!!!!

They do keep their gifts, and even worse, if you have multiple chars as they want the same items from each human they can end up with 4 of the item.

You can't NOT give them their presents though, that would just be mean...

Not to be rude, but why do you care what their house interior looks like? Dream towns? 'Cuz usually I don't go in their houses in a dream anyway. And even when I do, it's fun to see what the villagers randomly hoarded. XD
