but this is another town of mine and the character is not based on me)

I found these screenshots of me playing online with various other people deep in the depths of an old Instagram account. It's interesting to me how this is much more akin to archival footage than relevant gaming screenshots, especially with online servers shutting down soon and some of the pictures documenting glitches that are no longer performable.

I was playing New Leaf as normal, but a few things worthy of being documented happened today:

For context, Hamlet asked me to decide between three smoothie flavors and pick which sounded best. All of the flavors were weird, like shrimp gumbo, but wristwatch being a flavor definitely takes the cake for the most bizarre smoothie flavor. So naturally, I picked that option. Also, I’m a walking fashion disaster.

This was the spot where Merry moved out. It’s only been two or so weeks, but the spot is almost entirely back to being covered in snow after just being a dirt patch.

Speaking of Merry, I’ve been looking for a replacement since she left. Lyman was camping today, but I wasn’t really interested in having him. I wonder, would you have invited him?

Since this is probably going to be the last snowman I make this winter, I decided to fill a Snowtyke’s dreams of being with the rest of his family. Normally I’d just build them wherever, but this is a more special occasion, so I’m putting them next to each other. Later, I’ll put my picture of the full family.

Finally, my money luck was good today and I got double the normal amount of Bells from the money rock.

Sometimes light rain happens naturally (like in the picture with the hammers), but it's pretty rare. In the picture with the thunderstorm, the person with the Keroppi pins was using hacks to make the storm happen, but I don't think it can rain that hard on the island naturally.
