Please keep in mind I'm going to be better at teaching Fox, I've played consistently with him ever since The original, Nintendo 64 Smash Bros. I can teach Ryu since I've been maining him since he came out, and know how to use him pretty well, but any pointers on Ryu would be appreciated as well.

Well. I learned Captain Falcon (Maining), Fox (sub-maining), Falco(I'm a bit rusty but I can teach somethings), Marth(oddly enough, I know alot about him), Bowser, Ganon, and a bit of Roy and Ryu. So I could teach those characters, but overall, I don't really need any teaching.
