“Assorted” Collector
Although I change my signature more often than what is worth blogging about, I recently changed my signature. Normally, I have a signature picture with both my username and some form of contact information (traditionally friend codes), but in the last few months, I had no signature picture as I only had an anti-socialist message as a response towards Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the radical progressive voters over their increasing support for socialism. I also put an advertising link to my most recent blog entry on New Horizons, and credit to whoever made my avatar. But yesterday, I finally changed my signature to having a sig pic including my name and friend code. It also comes with Oddish and its Johto counterpart Hoppip, two Grass Pokémon among my favorites.
You may find it odd that I have a Grass Pokémon signature instead of an Ice Pokémon signature. Not only that the Ice type is my favorite type, but Grass is one of my least favorites. For the types it’s super-effective too, I prefer using Electric, Ice, and Water. However, if I were to judge some types to be cuter than others, Grass wins. Another thing you may find odd about me - the grassy background of my signature. My least favorite season in Animal Crossing is the dry season (July 6th to September 7th), as the grass and leaves on trees are at the darkest shade of green they can get to. I don’t like this season because it’s not only hot, but also dry. It’s also part of August, the month I call the worst month. If I were to have a grassy sig like this, I would pick one of the fall grasses more, more particularly the dead point (November 26th to December 10th). But I decided that this was the sig pic I wanted because in recent times, I got Let’s Go Pikachu to complete my Switch collection. While I like Eevee more than Pikachu as the Eevee version exclusives are better, one exclusive I like from the Pikachu version more is Oddish. I’ve been combo catching on Oddishes to get one with 6 perfect IVs. Although I never got one, I did get one with 5 perfect IVs with the Attack stat not being perfect. This is good enough. Oddish became one of my favorite Pokémon then, but there’s only one Grass Pokémon I like more. That is Hoppip.
I had to make this signature myself. In the past couple of times, I have requested others to make my signature. I try to be reasonable when I make an order, but nobody wanted to design my signature. The last time some other member made my signature was back in August of 2017. I made these buying threads for a new signature in 2019, and nobody even got started on any. Although I know that this is not true, I felt that I was scorned by other members. I’m not even rude to others over how they do my signature. I try to place a reasonable price too. I don’t know what is wrong with the Museum Shop, but since nobody wanted to do my requests in the last couple months, I may not bother making a request at the Museum Shop anymore.
This won’t be my permanent signature, but for now, I’ll be sticking with this.
