Petition from Villager Requires Going to Other Towns

Now, here's something I've never experienced before. Just a few hours ago, Paula asked me for something that turns out to be a more than just a simple favor. It's a task that requires me getting six villagers from another town to sign a petition that recognizes "Tomboys as People, Too". The deadline is at the end of the day, but I doubt anyone is going to respond to this before that comes to pass.
