I need help on Pok

I got Shaymin and i got the Flower thingy, but whenever i use it on Shaymin it just says 'no effect'. So what the hell do i do with it?!

I think you might have to give (not use it) it to Shaymin, or make sure it's daytime.

Oohh, is it daytime or night time then? I heard on Serebii or some other Pokemon site that it works only in Daytime.
