And yes, that is a poor, poor Keiichi-kun being made to wear the maid dress as a punishment.
Also I have no clue where, couldn't find any references of it but I could have sworn there was a scene of Keiichi /& Keiichi's dad and his mum drinking tea on a table in their front garden?? Maybe it was in one of the live action remakes - but the table with tea on is a nod to that.
...however the more I think about it, I'm probably thinking of a scene at the Sonozaki main house or even maybe Rikas from the old anime. Regardless, I think it fits very well along side the gnome and I could totally imagine his mum enjoying both.
Got around to changing the path too- I'm not sure I will keep it long-term but it is very pretty for now.
And I have made progress on terraforming-
no where near close to how I want it to be but still progress
Also Joey got spirited away
However hopefully that plot will stay open so I can move in a Sanrio character - most likely Toby or Chai!
It's also Julians birthday today

Back due to unpopular demand, it's me.
Got back into playing on the switch - got a bunch of demos from the Eshop and they been good. Miitopia absolutly slaps I want the full game omg. And then I found 'Worlds End Club' which I'm now playing the full version on Apple arcade aND DAMN IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

Back with another unwanted update!
Had completely abandoned the game bUT I now own my very own Switch Lite - and it's super cute!!
Transferring Hinamikawa to it was surprisingly quick and easy- I'm so glad.
I was just in time to see one of the firework festivals!
It fitted how I imagine the Watanagashi vibe to be!
Just a shame none of the villagers visited my festival and only the plaza
Messing around with the fountain fireworks and ...
Sooo many flowers I need to yeet.
My partner has also started a Umineko themed Island "Rokenjika" which we have been playing together on-
I hope to add some pictures from that to here soon too!
I've also made the executive decision to not watch the 2nd season of the new Higurashi until I've finished the Umineko VNs.
I got the Questions arc on sale on steam so this will be fun.
oh and finally a map update- since obviously haven't in a while

Here's a little progress of my cafe - honestly a little sad that Brewsters is going to be inside the Museum but this is cute anyway!
I re-did my farm area and I'm so hyped for all the farm new stuff coming - this is more just a place holder until then

and uhhh ayooo kinda rich now.. like found a good price on turnip.exchange and damn..
I got the cafe + Leifs' Shop opening tomorow so that'll be hype

Alr so I was looking through this blog and like I miss the style I did when I started out- so we switching back to that bc was a lot more fun ehe
So, Kumi here!
I woke up to hear this on the broadcast, and I could not contain my excitement!
The museum looks so funny while the Cafe was being added
Almost got abducted by a pedo yokai... but it's okay. He lead me to the other pedo -Vomit Pigeon.
....He didn't vomit in my milk yet so we are okay.
@MacaDes and I went to the Roost together!
um.. just what part of Hinamikawa are we drinking? I hope it's not the swamp.

It's been a while since I've been here, and on ACNH.
So much has changed in my life and looking back on this I feel like a different person than the one who wrote all these plans and stuff.
Animal crossing has always been some sort of coping mechanism for me ...but I'm happy I don't exactly need it anymore.
Maybe its temporary, maybe it's only the stability of my job that makes my outlook of life different and I'll revert to focusing all my energy on games, planning and forums to distract myself once I'm fired or have to take a break.
It was fun to keep a online diary blog thing for a game and this is more of a thank-you message to all the lovely people I've interacted on here with because I know even just talking to someone back then made me very happy. (Not that anyone will see haha)
Now why am I writing this???
Of course this isn't goodbye.
I got a new shiny Monster Hunter Rise Edition switch!!!!
But I haven't got around to transferring my ACNH data soooooo
well. Maybe I'll make a new island. Maybe I'll totally forget. Orr maybe I'll post some more of Hinamikawa soon!

So how is Hinamikawa doing?
Well I do be getting through Umineko. And it's tipping me about to get back into acnh.
Job wise, the branch I was in closed down. And the cinema took it over... Hired me as the cafe manager of the new cafe that replaced it, as well as also helping out with the cinema.
-So the doubtful past me that wrote the post just above can relax a little that I won't be fired and I'm actually doing an okay job
I just had a moment of peaceful nostalgia, with a gentle piano playlist in the background and few regular customer's sitting inside. It is also raining outside , and its giving off the vibe of the little cafe from ACLGTTC in the museum.
sooooooo glad I got over the phase of giving up on myself.
Also, I have plans to move out with my boyfriend in the next year or so which is a very exciting concept.
