Male with a male character. It helps me relate myself to the game better.

When I restarted my current and last town I chose a female mayor. It was getting awkward explaining to friends why I was cross dressing my old male mayor. (It was cute >.< ). I don't mind my character being female in animal crossing. It's definitely not as strange feeling as playing a female protagonist in Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, or an otome game.

Yep, my Mayor and my primary character (in the case of CF, WW and PP) is always female as am I. But I always put at least one male in my towns.

Since I'm female, I always keep my mayor female, but all my side characters are male. xD

Girl with a female mayor, but I do like playing as guys sometimes. If I ever make an alt, I just might make it a boy.
