Do Katrina's fortunes mean anything?

Today, she said something to me about a pep squad shirt being the key today.
Does it mean anything? . Or is it just random?

sometimes the item will prevent bad luck, sometime it will bring you good luck. it does make a difference but I usually don't bother to change anyway.

It doesn't make a drastic difference. If I didn't follow the good luck charm I ended up falling over a lot during the day. It's just a little quirk.

There are a lot of types of luck. She sometimes tells you what luck of sorts you have and the outfits, as weird as they are sometimes, help the day be better. I put on a knit sweater like she told me too and I stopped tripping which I was totally cool with.
