oh normal. i got my net out, closed out of the items, and hit A and caught it easily!!

Yea I caught one of those too. I was so happy cause I could never do it in the gamecube version for some reason.

I catch a bee every day. Not only do I get the hundreds of bells that fall out of the trees and the occasional furniture item for just looking for them, but when I catch one, I made an easy 4,500 bells.

Anywho, heres my bee catching strategy!

Step one: NOT using the stylus, but holding it in your hand, shake trees untill you get a bees nest.

Step two: Run a short distance away

Step three: hit the Y button to open the inventory
, while getting the stylus ready

Step four: using the stylus, tap and drag the net onto your character

Step five: close the menu quickly and switch back to NOT using the stylus

Step six: start hammering the A button


If your lucky, you can get one, patience. It takes practice!

Tip: keep your net at the top area of your inventory
