First off there is room for improvement. Always.
- Try sketching out what you want out first, then erasing it, then drawing over it. Try this till you are satisfied with your work. It helps.
- If you want to go more basic try stick figure, then erasing it out and drawing over it.
- With the placement of the eyes, nose and mouth try guide lines.
Here's a quick sketch I did, yes with my mouse to show you what I mean.
