Pokémon Which Pokemon did you start off with?

First time ever playing Pokemon, I started off with a Squirtle. I'm assuming that you might be talking about starters in general, though, so here's what I chose first time I played each respective game:

Blue- Squirtle
Crystal- Chickorita
Ruby- Mudkip
Emerald- Torchic
FireRed- Bulbasaur
Diamond- Turtwig
Platinum- Chimchar (though I boxed it so I could try using Ponyta)
SoulSilver- Cyndaquil

Black- Snivy (boxed later)

I have restarted games a few times so I'll just say the starter I picked the first time I played through each of these games:

Fire Red - Bulbasaur
Ruby - Treecko
Diamond - Piplup
Platinum - Piplup
Soul Silver - Cyndaquil
White - Oshawott
Black 2 - Oshawott
X - Froakie

I believe I have played through using all the starters except Chikorita, Fennekin and Chespin because of various restarts etc.
 
Kanto - Squirtle
Johto - Cyndaquil
Hoenn - Mudkip mostly. Never liked this gen's starters
Sinnoh - Piplup, I guess.
Unova - Oshawott.. Might have picked Tepig once though.
Kalos - Froakie. Frogs ftw

Yeah I mostly pick water types, idk why but to me they are the most appealing and even if they are weak to grass most can counter that with ice.

Sapphire + Emerald + Alpha Sapphire: Torchic
Ruby: Mudkip

Black + Black 2: Oshawott

Y: Fennekin + Squirtle
X: Froakie + Bulbasaur (haven't finished this one yet. )

I have a habit of using the same pokemon in remakes because it's very...nostalgic for me? :blush:

I did play an emulated version of Sapphire once and picked Torchic, but probs can't count it..tho Torchic ftw my fave fire starter. But yeah, I'm definitely more a Water and Grass kind of guy.
 
Torchic! It's my favourite Hoenn starter and I picked Torchic in the original Sapphire Pokemon game so I just HAD to choose Torchic again. Ironically, despite how great Blaziken is, Gardevoir ended up being by go to Pokemon on my in game team. xP
