You Don't Need the Animal Crossing Switch to Get it in Game

Initially, I thought that was the case. I also heard some people say that the only way to get in was to have either the ACNH switch, dock, or joy-cons, but when I logged on to my game this morning, I went into the nook shopping section of the machine in the Resident Services tent and saw this in the special goods catalog.



I know some people want a complete catalog, and I just wanted to let some of you know just in case you didn't think you could get it without receiving it from someone with the ACNH Switch.

In the picture, you can see that my switch is quite regular, (The joy-cons aren't attached, but I can ensure you that I do not have the Animal Crossing joy-cons) yet I have the ability to purchase the in-game ACNH Nintendo switch for 35,960 bells.

I can back you up on this. I also saw the switch in the special goods category and I definitely don't have an animal crossing switch.

Yeah, it showed up for me on the first day as well.
