ngl coming back after being inactive for months and seeing the website becoming more dead then it already was after the "incident" brought a lot of the staff's issues to light really makes me think about if coming back was really a good idea

Also, various comments with homophobic undertones/straight up homophobia were made, saying it was valid that someone brought up the fact that if the rule about sexual content was made more strict, LGBTQ+ topics couldn't be discussed so it's a bad idea, and this was defended by the staff post, saying along the lines of if the rules were tightened, then it's fair to think that LGBTQ+ topics would fall under the ban and therefore be disallowed. But then immediately proceeds to say that LGBTQ+ topics would never be banned, making the point instantly moot. At least that's what I got from the whole thing, and that's just the surface

to respond to the first thing you mentioned, the minimum age requirement for the website is 13 if i remember, and the forum is specifically about a nintendo game series who's games haven't received an age rating higher then an E for everyone, just because the majority of the website is over 18 does not mean people shouldn't be mindful of the content they are posting.

and to respond to the second comment, jesus that's one hell of a yikes. are these people still in the 90s?? why would any LGBTQ+ topics automatically be labelled NSFW??

Yeah... It's pretty disheartening to read that as the response members have been waiting possibly weeks? for. Like the age thing he spoke about in his post lowkey reminded someone of the people who defended their groomer, and they said as much. And I can't disagree as I have friends who've been dismissed by other adults for similar reasons/in similar ways.

And yeah it's honestly insane to me that anyone would even consider them one and the same, but the point was doubled-down

The embroidery looks just as clean in person it seems, was wondering about that. Some fantastic plushies for sure! Thanks for showing them to me. Might have to pick up a bastet at some point myself. 👀

They are :D! The dragon’s derpy face and chonkiness was really hard to resist any longer; now if only they came out with a new tsunami dragon 👀 (though idk how much more plushies my bed can hold lol). The kiwi was kinda an impulse buy 😅; I love its design but it didn’t pop out at me like the plague doctor, narwhale, phlox and dragon.

The embroidery of the Bastet is what really drew me to it; I think they did a wonderful job with it :D. I’m glad it has no whiskers considering the trouble I had with my Phlox 😅; it looks better without them anyways 🙂. It has some gold bands around its tail too 😺.

Don’t worry about it! I’m not the best at social stuff. Sometimes I misinterpret what someone means. I’ve been working on it, and I’ve been trying. It’s kinda tougher online cuz I can’t hear anyone’s tone of voice. So it’s harder to tell what someone meant. Thanks for clearing it up though. I appreciate it. Glad you think my Zelda obsession is cool. 😊
(I also thought based meant something bad. Glad that’s not the case!)
