It's half term here for the kids, so our boss likes to open later and close early. I'm just happy I only work mornings.
I do have to go buy milk though, since they don't buy milk for the coffee in advance. So I have to do it. >.<

Usually whenever I remember it exists (which isn't often) or when I get a notification and I'm not busy at the time.. I often forget to check though after I do get a notification 😅

I did see your last message, sorry I did not reply before you deleted. I have been tossing up on whether or not I want to talk about TOF thread.. I think I would rather not for now 😓 I am keeping up with the thread, though.

edit: I also know it sounds super silly but to clarify, it really makes me sad whenever ai is used because when you spend alot of time genuinely writing something, you want to be taken seriously.

and thank U for explaining that!! somewhere like tbt doesn't auto change -- for me - does it change for u when u write like that on this website? is it to do w ur keyboard or windows/ mac setup?? or is it copying and pasting from somewhere that does the auto change? i would rly benefit from learning more about it! i'll defo take some time to do my own research but i rly appreciate u explaining things like that to me!! thank u again

that's totally understandable, but also if u enjoy writing like that then don't let people like me stop u!! i'm on a higher alert for ai due to work so i'm in that mindset of 'ugh' if i notice it heavily used.. it doesn't necessarily mean any bit of text with—is ai - just a correlation/ trend rn... not everyone is in this mindset, and people might actually enjoy reading ai content - it's just preferences.. i can't imagine how it feels rn being a writer AND student, truly a double whammy w this subject

your so amazing omg i love this convo! yeah whenever people try to pass off their ai essays a die a little inside 😭 I think everyone should do whatever makes them feel comfortable but I lose a little respect just bc I think of it as a cheat / shortcut to hard work. Yeah on tbt it changes on my computer — and my iPad, just not iPhone! double dash automatically makes a —. I GET IT COMPLETELY HAHA DW ABT THE CHARACTER LIMIT! ai writing is so discouraging and ai in general makes people lazy, i used to really appreciate well written responses and text but now half-the-time its ai and im just like 😖

I will have to say though, the whole discussion since we started talking about solutions to the ignore feature, has been pretty civil. But when everyone got rude and condescending beforehand, that wasn’t civil.

Seeing your post in the night light thread, I should see if there is a way to have the map completely dark in pitch black mode in hide in seek among us. i think when we tried pitch black there was not a big difference 😅. Or if there can be a pitch black flash light mode too

When we had it flashlight mode, it was harder for imp to kill but actually way scarier as crew, lol. Imp seemed everywhere!
At night i have my phone next to me when i sleep, so i can use it as a light if i get up, lol.

Thx!!! Yeah apparently there’s this super cold going around Houston in a big massive way and apparently it’s everywhere, but my husband had linked me to some Reddit posts about how bad this cold is and it hit my son‘s girlfriend and her family and then both of my boys got it and then I got it And quite a few people at my work got it and it was awful!!! It meant lots of days of just resting before I had to go to work on days that I went in, so I worked on my projects while I was sick with Ellie in there with me so we got lots of “her” time as well 😂 I absolutely cannot wait to share some of this project stuff with you!!! I think you will absolutely love it!

You’re welcome, sorry to hear about that. We had something going around here in Florida as well. So got sick a few weeks ago with a bad cold. I don’t think it was as bad as where you are. Hopefully everyone is starting to or is feeling better. Yea I had to rest a lot when I was sick too. I am sure Ellie enjoyed the extra cuddles. I would love to see what projects you are working on.

Of course I would remember such kindness! I don't know how I could not ahaha ❤️ It's such a shame that there would be people to make you feel bad for an act of kindness, but I guess the saying is true no good deed goes unpunished. 💔

It's such a wonderful gesture to put in such kindness to bring joy to others, but it shouldn't just fall on you. Those who had the gall to speak up about this really should look into themselves and see that they're just as capable as putting such kindness into this world as well. Even small acts of kindness can have such lasting impacts. And I'm very happy to have met you!
