Your Villagers: Past & Present

I love making threads like these, i really like hearing about the villagers people have in their towns, or have lived in their towns, and if you liked them etc or not, and how long they lived in your village, or whether they will be staying :3
So just do a short description of each villager, and then your past ones

My town only started six days ago, so nothing too exciting, but ill be updating this as ones move out/move in etc

The Original Five

Apple - Apple is honestly the cutest hamster going, and possibly one of the cutest villagers in the entire series, she is really sweet and always says i am her BFF along with Stinky. I LOVE her Apple themed and polka dot themed house, though ive ruined it by sending her gifts, which i feel guilty about she now sends me letters randomnly, without me sending them, showing we are good friends! i never plan to let Apple leave, and hope to get her picture soon

Mitzi - Mitzi lived in my previous town Koholint, and so when i saw her when i came off the train i was delighted, i kept her previous pic from my old town, and it is currently in my main room, i do really like Mitzi and she is sweet and very cute, but compared to the other villagers in my town, which largely consists of my dream villagers, i do find her bland, and i also have her picture.. so i plan to let her go in the future, especially since i want Tangy, and don't really want two female cats

Rolf - Rolf is my joint favourite Cranky alongside Octavian and so i was super happy when i saw him! he is slowly becoming nearly joint favourite with Apple in my town, he constantly calls himself the shadow mayor which i find funny, as he lives near the town hall, i really hope to get his picture, i have dont loads of tasks for him. Rolf is awesome, and he is NEVER leaving

Stinky - Out of the original five, Stinky was the only one i had not wanted in my town tbh, and id never experienced him before, however i've really grown to like him! and i'd consider him one of my favourite cats, his house is really cool too, however the jock personality is my least favourite, and i want Samson in my town, so once I get his picture, he can leave.. i would miss him though

Willow - When i saw Willow i was amazed. I ADORE the sheep, and i find Willow the cutest of the lot, me and her have grown really close, and she constantly invites me to her house, and i constantly go to hers, the snooty personality is my favourite, i just find them so amusing, and interesting, unlike some personalities. Willow will never leave my town, and so alongside Apple & Rolf, she will always be a permanent remainder of the originals :3


The Rest
Most of the rest of my villagers have been from the Villager giveaway thread, so i'd just like to thank everyone on there as it has helped me to get so many of my dream villagers! and made my new town amazing

Lopez - Lopez was the first villager to move in, and he was the only one who i didn't recieve off the giveaway thread, and is not one of my dream villagers, however i've always wanted a Deer and so i was so happy to recieve him! he is always talking about dancing, and i just love the smug personality, also his house is amazing! i need the modern wood set. I plan to let Lopez leave once i get his picture, as the only smug i want in my town is Marshal

Vesta - Vesta is my all time favourite from Animal Crossing. She was in my GC town & my WW town, both times as originals, i got her from the giveaway thread and i was so happy! she was the next to move in after Lopez. I can't even describe just how great Vesta is, and i love having multiple sheep in my town, she will never leave..


Freya - Freya was next to move in, and was one of my original villagers on the GC, and so i was so happy to recieve her, she has such a cool design and is the only wolf i actually like, i plan to keep her for a long time, though as i have 12 Dream villagers, she will probably be one of the two who will be exchanged out for two others eventually, but i definitely plan to keep her for a long time as i love her

Muffy - Muffy moves in tomorrow, her plot was placed today, and i am so excited! how can you not love a gothic lolita sheep!! she will be the first uchi villager in the town, and will be my 3rd sheep, she will be a permanent villager for quite awhile i imagine, though maybe not permanent like Vesta & Willow. I can't wait to meet her, shes so cute!

Moving In (
Stitches - I should be recieving Stitches today off someone, and therefore he will be moving in, in a few days and i am really excited, i LOVED Stitches in my wild world town, and i need him since i have no lazy villagers at the moment, he will not leave my town . EDIT: Stitches definitely is moving in, and i cannot wait

I really enjoyed writing that, haha i am too obsessed.

All in all i am so happy with my new town, the fact i could possible have 7/10 dreamies in my original lineup is amazing and all thanks to this forum

I'll try to follow your way of doing it.

Well, I just got my First set of dream villagers which makes me incredibly happy because now I can build paths and all that fun stuff! It didn't take nearly as long as I had expected to take, but the second copy of the game helped me obtain three or four of my dream villagers, but I'll get to that later.

Original 5



Tammi
Gah, the terrible yellow Peppy Monkey. Probably my least favorite starting villager. I liked almost nothing about her, honestly. haha. I don't think I talked to her once while she was in my town. The day she left my town, I didn't play for two days and another villager moved in who was almost as bad!

Bill
I will be 100% honest. I don't like ducks. Whether they are in Animal Crossing or real life. I just simply do not like ducks. So, this Jock Duck was one of my original villagers. The Jock personality is probably my least favorite. So Bill and I clashed instantly. I liked him a tad bit more than Tammi, but not much to be brutally honest. He originally wanted to be my first villager to move away, and I was to let him go. But he didn't like that I agreed to his moving away, and I didn't know about the turning off the game thing which would negate his deciding to stay. That made me dislike him even more.

Chow
I didn't mind Chow in the beginning. He was... alright. But as my town grew to contain more and more of my dream villagers, I realized something. Chow was pretty lame in my book. I don't hate him, but I don't like him. He was... alright.

Maple
Now, Maple was a good villager. Nice letters, solid design, decent gifts. And the thing that makes me enjoy Maple is the fact that she is the reason I came to this site. I was looking to trade and/or give her away. I noticed that she was a popular villager here, and she was my start here at TBT.

Moe
The reason I kept this town, the reason I reset my original town, my favorite villager. Now, AC:NL is my first AC game. I never looked at the villagers before starting the game for the first time. But after I had my original town for about a month I decided to start looking at other potential villagers, and I saw this big, bright eyed cat named Moe. It was e-love. I will never let him leave my town, and he was my first villager to give me his picture. <3 Moe

The following Dreamers
I am skipping all the filler villagers that I got rid of to get this town the way it is now.



Mira
My big sister villager was the next dream villager to enter Celadon. She was my first move in villager and at first I didn't like her that much, but she was my first rabbit in the town. After she moved in, it took me about two days to fall for her and realized that she is my favorite Uchi villager by design. And she made me realize that Rabbits are tied for my favorite animals in the series.

Olivia
After some time, I found the subreddit /r/AdoptMyVillager. I had found someone who was willing to part with Olivia. I was so happy. I was going to get another Cat villager to go with Moe. But! Someone came into the thread and offered like 5 million Bells for Olivia. I was so mad that the person canceled our deal at the last second after agreeing to let me have her that I went out and bought a hard copy of the game so that I never had to deal with online trading communities again. But Lady Luck was on my side. The very next day in game, a tent popped up. I checked it out and, for god knows what reason, Olivia was right there. In my tent, alone, with only me. I pounced at the opportunity and made her a villager in the town of Celadon.

Lucky
This one is kind of boring, honestly. I just TT'd him in from my hard copy. Sorry for the boringness.

Jacques, Fang, Erik, Ruby
Don't get me wrong, I love these villagers. Ruby is probably my favorite Peppy and Jacques is my favorite Smug, but I got these villagers from other people who I traded with, so nothing really interesting here.

Kiki
Kiki, I received in a trade as well, but her and I have a long, long history. Years even! "But wait a second, Alright! You said this was your first AC game. Well, you are right! Kiki was my second favorite villager at one point. I was desperate to get her in my Dream village. I reset hundreds of time, I believe like 73 or something, so not hundreds. Then she popped up as one of the villagers to not greet me off the train. But I was so happy to get her in my town. I TT'd away many Stitches, one or two Tangys, a Chief, three Ankhas, another Lucky, and even two or three Whitneys in my pursuit of Kiki. And there she was, in my TTing town. So, I started TTing. (I did four days at a time then run in front of her to see if she would bing me.) I TT'd for a year straight going four days at a time. Nothing. Every other villager left but not Kiki. I TT'd another six months. More and more villagers left but not Kiki. Finally I started doing two days at a time, another six months goes by. Everyone was leaving but not Kiki. After three days of straight TTing this town, I cracked. I reset my town and scratched Kiki off my list of Dream villagers, I believed that I wasn't meant to have her. I started honestly not liking her anymore because she wouldn't leave that town. Then I saw someone posted on the Villager Exchange "Kiki is moving out tomorrow, anyone want her?". I thought, "No way." So, I PM'd the person. And the next day, I got my beautiful black cat, Kiki.

Last but certainly not least, Chief
Well, when I was checking out the villagers for the first time, Moe wasn't the only villager that I adored. This guy was the other. This Cranky Wolf is my second favorite villager of all time, barely beating out Kiki. After I got Kiki, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Did I want Chief or did I want a Jock villager? And I realized that having Chief in my town was more important that Solar Panels. Maybe once Jacques or Erik moves out I'll grab a Jock, but I was set on resetting my TTing town I got Chief. It took me only two resets. I walked off the train at the town of Pallet to Tangy, Muffy, and Bill greeting me. I was like "ugh, these guys again. Oh well, I'll go check the other two..." First, Bill. Damn. Second, Dizzy. "Great!... >_<" Third, Muffy. "Trade fodder." Fourth, Tangy. "At least I can get someone good for her." Fifth, Tangy's next door neighbor, Chief! I nearly peed myself with excitement. I was so incredibly happy that I actually got Chief in my village.

I love this Black Bunny. I got him from someone on Reddit for free. He came right before Lucky, as my second Lazy villager. I will have him again. I will, I will.

Tom
My original Cranky villager because I never thought that I would actually get Fang or Chief, so he was my second villager that I obtained from my TTing town after Lucky. I TT'd too far, and he moved out. He was a good villager, but I probably won't try to hard to get him again.

Big Top
At first he was really cool but after a while he wasn't that interesting as the others. I really don't mind if he moves but I'll miss him if he does. Probably my least favorite of the 5.

Blaire
Blaire is mean and nice as a snooty character. She was the villager that gave me a bamboo shoot(awesome!). Plus sometimes she gave me medicine. Probably the best snooty villager I have ever had!

Buck
Buck is awesome! He has a messy couch he will never give me though! He is just hilarious sometimes I remember the time he said he wanted his face on a bag of potato chips! Many times I have opened his locker and there is an item in there he gives me!

Chief
I love Chief! He is probably my top favorite villager! For some odd reason when ever I put roses around his house magically roses everywhere(beautiful ordinance)! I feel like sometimes this guy's a tsundere!

Pekoe
She's so cute! Probably one of my top favs as well! I feel so bad for her sometimes though because she always wants to come to my house at a scheduled time and I have to say no (I forget alot!) so I won't make her sad if I forget!

The Others

Julian
The first to move out(and in maybe?) It's not like I hated him or anything but I have like too many people in my town so I had to let him go. Plus I have Klaus which is just like him so they say almost the same things. He made me so excited when he moved in, I was like "A UNICORN! A UNICORN IS MOVING IN!"

Klaus
Klaus is okay not the best villager but he's nice. One time he was like sick forever! I remember my cousin came to visit my town and Klaus had a sign on his door that said he didn't wan't anyone to catch his cold. Poor Klaus.

Tangy
I did not trade for her and I did not with any other animals. Tangy is probably one of the villagers that will stay in my town for eternity. She's so funny and cute!

Sylvia
I really hated her I really did (she moved right next to re-tail) and one day she decided to move I was so happy! Until she came up to me and said Brian(my brother) told her to stay. I was so angry at him! But now I like her alot!

Broffina
She was a total surprise! She came to me after a streetpass from a town named Tokyo. When I saw her roped plot and read the name I was like what? She's pretty cool though I would change her name into Cassandra(Japanese name) which sounds way better!

Dream Villager

I still really want Goldie from my WW we were best friends(sorta)and she is so cute!

Miranda: I know she has lots of haters, but I find her cute and she's a duck, and I'm a duck lover. Her house is elegant.

Derwin: All heil the nerd duck... jk. I love that nerd-ish looks he has, and the fact that his home looks like a classroom.

Sydney: I'm not really a koala lover, but her design is cool, and she's kind, and she seems to be good friends with Miranda... e.e

Curt: Haters gonna hate, but he's one of my dream villagers and I luckily got him as a starter. I like the fact that he's all grumpy and nearly has facial expressions, and his home is awesome.

Snake: Moat haterz!? I like villagers that dress in an unique style, like Snake dresses like a ninja (or Solid Snake from MGS). He's not the best rabbit out there but he's one of my dreamies and I was really lucky.

The Other (and upcoming) Villagers

Frank: Along Apollo, Frank is one of my favorite eagles. I like his Hulk-ish design and his home design. It makes him look like a fighter :3

Deena: Best duck along Billie imo. You all know I'm a duck lover and I want to have at least 4 ducks in my town. Well, Deena is not only one of my favorite ducks, but my favorite villager of all time.

Gloria: Duck lover strikes back. I know she's a little rude with the player and another villagers, but I really like her snooty character and her design.

Eugene: Sunglasses-wearing koala is sunglasses-wearing koala. His house design is really cool, with a 1950s-ish design, and the fact that he's easy to befriend makes him cooler.

Roscoe - a dream come true. my ultimate dream villager. i even had artwork commissioned of him. i love his eyes. they are really cool, and the next second they can be on fire. his eyes are like candles like that passion pit song. ~ 10/10

Bella - fell in love with her cuteness. she is so small and yet so full of energy i love it. 9/10

Olivia - she's one cool cat. prob one of the nicer looking snooty types. 6/10

Carmen Third camper, she's pretty cool but I only accepted her to keep my town fresh. I don't mind her leaving.

Skye First camper, she's pretty cool but I don't mind if she moves I guess, especially as I have Freya.

Freya Fourth camper, I like her so I'm going to keep her for a while.

Pietro Moved second, second camper. Lasted a week.

I'm just going to talk about one of my old neighbors from City Folk, if that's okay.
I had Chester in my town as one of my original characters. I probably got the game around 2009, and I had him in my town up untill a few months ago. Chester was my favorite neighbor ever, he even gave me a chocolates on Valentines Day. I quit City Folk a while ago, but somtimes I still go on just to check up on him. Once, I came into his house, and there was boxes. I was really mad/upset, because if I had just went on a few days earlier, I could have stopped him. Ever since then, It's been a mission for me to get him into my New Leaf town. > I'm saving my last spot for him.

Doomsday

Original Five:
Bam, Doc, Robin, Sydney, and Static. I really enjoy having Bam and Static. Doc is really loveable too, but I've been feeling more indifferent to him lately as cute as he is. XD Robin, I had in a past game. She's okay but I won't mind if she moves out.

After:
Eugene, Bunnie, Rene?, Winnie, and Pierce. I like Eugene and Winnie a bunch, but I won't try and keep Winnie because her poor choice of house positioning is keeping me from a building a bridge in a spot I really want one. Bunnie, I don't care much for. Pierce, I was lucky enough to pick up from somebody who was just giving him away.

Woodwisp

I was a bit less concerned with the villagers in this town.

Original Five:
Poncho, Pinky, Caroline, Kitty, and Harry. Out of the original five, I only cared for Pinky. Thankfully, three out of the four have already moved out. Just waiting on Harry now.

Later:
Marshal, Papi, Pheobe, Drift, Frita, Graham. Two of these guys are unexciting because I essentially just reset hammered the game until it gave me the villagers I wanted. Seriously, the only reason this town came into existence was for the sole purpose of having Marshal. I only liked 2-3 of the uchi villagers, so Phoebe was my choice. Papi, on the other hand, I didn't really have a preference when it came to lazy villagers so as the first to show, I just let him move in. However, he's definitely one of my favorites. A freaking okapi who eyes turn into little 'X's rather than shut tight? Freaking awesome. Also, he has K.K. Hypno playing in his pad, which combined with his uh... rather dead eyes, makes me like to pretend he has some deep dark secrets under that goofy, lazy exterior.

As for Drift and Frita, Frita has started to grow on me, but she is in the same boat with Winnie, just ruining my town layout. XD Drift was cool, plugged his house on a major path, moved out. Pretty unexciting.

Finally, Graham came from the campsite as one of my favorite smug villagers.

 

[Elaine]

I will probably miss a few (I TT'd a lot to get the hair-bow wig so a lot of people just moved out period).. but I'll be refering to screenies (which I take MANY of haha, I have issues with the amount I screenshot urgh) so hopefully I can get all of them.

These were the first 5 from the best of my memory:

Mitzi
I didn't like her at first despite being a cat lover, but she grew on me! She was always really friendly and nice to me and uwu I TT'd to my birthday by accident and she came over along with Colton (my bby) and she was incredibly sweet and it moved me. So I started doing requests from her and stuff because overall she was just a sweetheart and why not. She left me when I TT'd too far but she left me with her picture. :c

Roald: I never really liked him in fact I tried to stay away (I was trying to get him to move out for my brother because he wants a penguin town!) But he never just would go away! And then he would ask me about moving out and I'd be like bye and then he'd say something like 'You'll just slack on your training if I leave' and stay. o_o; He did this twice and then eventually I think I just TT'd far enough and he ended up leaving haha.

Benjamin:
Never really liked him either but he was pretty friendly so I dealt with it. He moved out pretty quickly.

Lobo: He was fine at first but I got distracted with other lovies and kinda ignored him. :c He eventually moved out altho it took awhile and he almost never offered to leave.

Penelope (I hated her guts and she took FOREVER to move)

Campers!

Mott: I had actually started playing ACNL on release date for about a week before remaking my town. When I did, I was really upset over losing Elvis because I had always loved him and just became buds with him! :c I was TTing into spring to get my wig when I stumbled upon him in the Igloo Campsite and wow I fell in love haha. It took me quite awhile to get him to be friends with me but now I have his picture and I'm really happy with him!

Nana: I found her in my camp and my face literally O_O'd as if I had hit the jackpot. I immediately invited her over and she was my baby forever on. Until she moved out suddenly (she didn't tell me and none of the villagers mentioned it) uwu. This was a couple of days ago and I'm still not really over it.

Drago: I saw him in the camp and he seemed like a special rare character being a dragon and all. I thought that many people are trying to make Oriental/Zen towns so I picked him up incase someone else wanted him and I could trade him off. Well, that didn't end up being the case and I was actually stuck with him for awhile. xD I never really got close to him because I always though It'd be giving him away. Eventually he hopped into oblivion, at least I hope not because I'm sure there's a home for him somewhere :c

I actually really dislike letting villagers just poof, I'm really glad I found this forum because I've found homes for even some of the..bottom tier villagers (imo). I might not like certain villagers for my town in particular, but that doesn't mean I don't care about where they end up.

Colton: I thought he was weird when he moved in, and his house was like way close to mine so I was like k. But he was always super duper friendly to me and he's pretty spunky so he grew on me. He's always saying adorably silly things, and now that we're besties he's always making his rounds near his house and mine so he comes over ALL the time or has something to say. I love him, I'm glad that he decided to talk to me!

Skye: I was excited about her because I used to have a thing for wolves but I think I was so obsessed with Mott, Nana, Colton and Mitzi she kinda went out of the picture :c It's alright though. She'll be moving to a nice home soon enough!

I feel like a butt for rejecting so many people now that i think of it, but when I really love a villager, I really love them.. I am way too into this game ugh

The Original Five

**Merengue (Normal Rhino):** Yes! I was lucky enough to get the ever popular Merengue as an original villager! I instantly fell in love with her. She has a STRAWBERRY HORN, guys! And she calls me cupcake...which is oddly appropriate. She's the only original resident that is still in my town and I may let her go someday...but it's gonna be a while.

Maelle (Snooty Duck): Honestly, I wasn't crazy about her at first but I grew to like her a lot. She was always complimenting me on my clothes and inviting me over to her house. She asked to move and I let her but I really do miss her!

Bubbles (Peppy Hippo): Literally the bane of my existence. She was so freaking aggravating. You'll notice a lot of my villagers have moved out. That was due to me TTing to try to get rid of this stupid hippo. Her house was ugly too. She finally moved. Goodbye!

Jeremiah (Lazy Frog): He asked to move less than a week after I started the game. I wasn't attached to him so I let him go so I could get different villagers. He was a pretty cool guy though. I really have nothing against him.

Elvis (Cranky Lion): I LOVE Elvis! He's such an awesome villager! But one of my friends wanted him really badly so when he asked to move, I let him and she took him It's okay though, he gave me a throne while he lived here!

**Shari (Uchi Monkey):** She was the first to move in. Shari gets a lot of hate, but I think she's pretty cute! She's not my favorite or a dream villager or anything, so I'll let her move if she asks, but she is one of the only two that hasn't asked yet!!

**Kyle (Smug Wolf):** Second to move in. I wasn't sure about him at first because he decided TO PLOP HIS HOUSE LITERALLY ONE SPACE IN FRONT OF MY TOWN HALL, but you know what? I've learned to live with it, because I love him. He often tells me we "need more dancing happening right now". And hey, he flirts with me all the time, so that's a self esteem boost! He's never leaving. Ever.

**Curly (Jock Pig):** Third to move in. Okay, where do I start. He's less annoying than Bubbles but not by much. All he EVER wants to do is play Hide and Seek. And I can never find him in town. Plus he's ugly. (Sorry.)

**Skye (Normal Wolf):** Fourth to move in. MY FAVORITE VILLAGER IN MY TOWN CURRENTLY!! And my second favorite of all time (Second only to Kiki!). I love her! She's so cute and nice! She sends me mail all the time and tells me that I'm her best friend in the world. Plus she always gives me free stuff. AND she calls me Sparkles She is never moving. Ever.

**Blanche (Snooty Ostrich/Crane):** I like Blanche a lot! Definitely one of the nicer looking Snooty villagers. She likes to give me tips on accessorizing and talk about how she's a "classy ostrich". She also likes to hate on Pompom (Pompom is a real couch hog! Pompom loves to steal decorating ideas!) I'm not letting her move for awhile, definitely not until I have her picture.

**Goldie (Normal Dog):** My first camper! I let her move in, because, come ON, it's Goldie! She's so cute and I just love her! However, she is my least favorite of my three normal villagers, and I want Kiki, so once I get her picture, I'll probably let someone have her, since she's really popular.

Frank (Cranky Eagle): Honestly, he was really boring. His house was stuck in a corner of town I never visit and he rarely left the house. I had nothing against him but it was a matter of convenience for me in letting him go.

Cube (Lazy Penguin): He was really cute! Asked to leave after only a week in my town but I had a friend who wanted him, so off he went!

**Pompom (Peppy Duck):** Pompom is...Pompom. She's way better than Bubbles, my previous Peppy. I'm honestly not a big Peppy fan overall, but I like Pompom fine. I'll let her go if she asks though.

**Bruce (Cranky Deer):** He's really cute for a cranky. He's my newest villager but I like him a lot. I really want Apollo or Octavian eventually though, so he can leave if he wants...AFTER I get his picture! Like Goldie, I'll probably give him to someone.


As for my dream villager, I only have one. Kiki. She was in my GC, WW, and CF towns and was my best friend! I also want Ribbot, but not as much as Kiki.

Original five:
Gala: - Ever since I first saw Gala, I have really liked her. She is so friendly and easy to get along with. But I think I have really liked ever since she invited me round her house, which was nice
Victoria: - I have always loved Victoria, she is my favourite villager. Luckily, I have her in my ACWW town, when I first met her, and in NL. She always sends me letters, we talk all time, her house is nice and I went to her birthday party, 'such fun'! I'm not giving Victoria up for anything, haha
Static: - Normally, I hate cranky villagers. But I really like static, he seems a lot nicer than most cranky villagers. Probably ever since I started playing on his guitar and him applauding me on day 1, he has been really nice. I love his house though.
Lyman - I'm a bit so-so with Lyman. Sometimes he seems very annoying and always asking me to get him things, but when I talk to him he hardly manages to reply :/ He's alright though, I've had worse villagers.
Bones - Bones is so cool! Again, he is in my ACWW town and my NL town, probably why I know him well. He's always friendly and has a good personality, and an excellent house (probably my favourite).

The next 5:
Ken - I don't like ken. I dunno why, I just don't. His house (in my opinion), is terrible.
Friga - I guess she's alright. I don't like her, but don't hate her. as a very smarmy and snooty personality. although, we manage to talk quite a bi.
Ozzie - Love Ozzie. His face is really cute, and he is so friendly. I'm not letting Ozzie go either.
Kidd - Boring. I dunno why, he just is. He never says hi or interacts with me in any way.
Anicotti - I thought, being peppy, I would like her. But I don't. I just find her weird. I would be happy if she left.

Past Villagers:
Flo - I hated flo. She moved into my brothers town and told him she never liked my and found me annoying. Never knew villagers were so mean
