Your own time capsule: What would you put inside?

I don't mean an Animal Crossing time capsule, but an honest-to-goodness real time capsule. What would you put inside? The capsule will be opened up in 20 years. Preferably, you should pick things that you actually have access to right now, or things you can obtain pretty easily.

Here's my stuff:

• A recent photograph of me
• My old cell phone
• A Bible
• A map of the world
• A newspaper from September 12, 2001 (I've actually been saving this in my bookshelf!)
• A newspaper from the current date
• An unopened can of Coca-Cola (random)

What a great idea for a thread! I've never made a time capsule before, but the whole idea of burying things that mean something to you in one way or another for yourself to find in the future is all sorts of romantic. I actually have to think about what I'd put in mine.

- Positive notes about myself, written by myself & loved ones
- A dated photo of me & my boyfriend with a lock of our entwined hair taped to it
- A leaf from my grandma's plant I now take care of because she can't
- A receipt to my favorite restaurant
- A tea bag of yerba mate
- A mix cd of my favorite songs
- Excerpts taken from my favorite books

Only the best Batman comics and episodes from the animated series. The first Kingdom Hearts game. I would also include the Blue Eyes White Dragon card. People thousands of years from now will be so engrossed in their OP decks, they'll crave to know what dueling was like in yester-years.

I'd probably fill it with taxidermy bits and pieces. I think it's very, very important to preserve species for the future, especially if they're endangered. After all, we'd never know what a lot of animals really looked like if we didn't have photographs, videos and mounts. And some little figurines, I love figurines. It'd be so exciting to find tiny plastic dinosaurs and stuff inside a can.

This IS a cool thread!
I would put:
- A letter to my self wit my goals, dreamd and aspirations to see if I fulfilled them.
- A letter from my boyfriend of 6 years reflecting on our relatiomship and where we see us going in 20 years.
- A journal of "3 good things", a log I keep each day for the past year, as a piece of nostalgia of university life.
- a rent receipt.
- a bank stantment to show hoe broke I am now so I can laugh about it later.
- a USB drive of my recent essays, my favorite music, and vieo recordings of my lecture (last Monday) as well as the PowerPoint slides that accompanied them - becase in 20 years hope to be a professor (this is how I got my start).
- Some photos of my cats, who will then be dead, and photos of my boyfriend and I throughout our relationship.
- Confessioms of my biggest fears now, so I can look back and realie how little it mattered.
- Some samples of my favorite teas
- A copy of the textbookI helped write and publish
- A copy of "The Lance" (university newspaper) outlining the details of the current strike.

-a bottle of my favorite wine
-probably my first cell phone (again, for comparison)
-a twinkie? Just for fun, I don't eat them but I'd love to see a 20 year old twinkie (ew!)

I'd put pictures of me and my family, books that detail different species of animals, book-markers, and some favorite books. It'll be like a mini-library!
