Your Dream Villagers: Why Do You Want Them?

I've noticed that there is a big diversity in what villagers one user wants, to what another wants. I've seen that some users want villagers that bring back nostalgia, ones that they had in their old PG, WW, & CF towns. I've also seen some who want villagers of a certain species because it's their favorite.

Here are my reasons: Feel free to skip, idc

Phoebe: I don't like many of the Uchi villagers, but Phoebe really caught my eye. I wanted her because of her unique design. A phoenix.. I mean, what's cooler than that?
Kid Cat: I love Kid Cat, and I've always wanted him to live in my town. I love his superhero getup.
Merengue: She was the first 'new' villager that I saw when looking up Trailers for ACNL. Love at first sight. She's pink, which is my favorite color, and she has a friggin' strawberry as a horn. She's just so unique.
Punchy: Like Kid Cat, I've always wanted Punchy. He's one of my most favorite villagers of all time. His design is brilliant, intriguing and different. And he's a cat. I love cats. He's lazy too, which is my favorite villager personality.
Apple: I just thought she was the cutest of the hamsters, she makes me smile.
Friga: I want her in my town because she is the only villager who shares a birthday with someone very special to me. (my boyfriend)
Hamphrey: He's a grumpy one, but he is friggin' adorable. I don't think I've ever seen a black hamster before.
Bob: I had him in my original ACGC town, and he was my favorite villager. His design is amazing, and he reminds me of Magenta from Blue's Clues looool~
Marshal: He just looks like such a cool cat, er, squirrel. He's a sweetheart, and his house is really nice.
Lopez: My favorite of the deer. Perhaps my favorite villager overall. I just think he's awesome, haha.

So. Why do you want the dream villagers that you do? What is it about them that makes you want them in your town?

Agent S: She's like a me in animal form and we share the same birthday. :O
Marshal: He's pretty deep and that slightly frown face belies a sweetheart.
Henry: I actually got him randomly but I'm really enjoying him as a villager. Da-da-da-dah! *POSE!*
Flurry: My original villager she's such a neat freak, it's endearing.
Flo: Those bee sting medicines she always offers. I have no fear of tree shaking anymore!
Muffy: She sorta has that zombie-vibe going on, but cute. Them eyes. I love the uchi personality. xDa
KidCat: I can't separate him from his sidekick. ;u;
Merengue: Ugh so cute. Ugh, come to meeee.
Molly: Cutecutecute.
Stitches: There's something about patchwork that I really do love.

I don't actually have past loves as this is actually my first foray into AX.

Marshal: I thought I'd like him when I saw him, and visiting him at my best friend's town I know I adore him. I can't wait till he moves out of my best friend's town (he said I could have him)~ I'm so happy I get to visit this villager regularly despite not having him in my town yet. T^T
Bunnie: I don't know why, but I want to just give her a cool jacket and then she'd become the cutest baddass ever. That's my dream mang.
Coco: She's creepy and I like creepy. :3 Not trying to be mean though... I do find her adorable, just unique.
Bob: One of my original characters from GC. ^^ Don't need to say much more than that. I even drew fanart of him ; w ;
Kid cat: I was browsing tumblr and I saw so much nice fanart of him. One in particular caught my eye and ever since I want him in my town. That and I want him to help protect my town with my alt Ami!
Willow: I love her color scheme and she really sticks out. xD Her face is so cute.
Whitney: She's been very loyal to me in WW. I stopped playing for a while (like 3 years) and she's STILL there. She was also the first to give me her picture.

I have other dream villagers but... don't want to write more. xD; Haha.

There only two villagers I saw in other peoples' villages that I want.

The first is Merengue, I like her personality, that her horn looks like a strawberry, and her house has a cookie/sweet shop theme. Second would be Matilda the kangaroo. I love her catch phrase and that her joey mimics her expressions.

I've told the people I visited that when Merengue and Matilda decide to leave their towns to let me know in exchange for letting them know when Francine and Rocket leave my town. Because though I don't like Francine and Rocket they both love them. Francine because the person loves rabbits and Rocket because he's dressed like a superhero.

The only villagers I'd classify as "dream villager" would be a sheep and Pierce.

Maple- she was my bestest friend on Wild World and the first few of the villagers I ever had back when I first got into the series in 2005. THEN SHE RANDOMLY MOVED WITHOUT TELLING ME </3
Poncho- because we used to work out together. no but seriously he's an adorable jock bear and he was also in the group of my first villagers too. I might be getting him back on New Leaf :')
Peanut-also one of my first, moved without telling me I always lover her happy personality. And her hot pink striped shirt. She's just plain adorable.
Goldie- I wasn't so fond of her at first but then I ended up loving her once she moved in. I got her picture :3 I hope I can have her again in New Leaf. She has a nice personality.
Fauna- her design is so cute *u* I haven't had her yet but I really want a cute deer villager.
Lolly, Rosie, and Poppy- THE CUTEST THINGS EVER. I haven't had any of them yet but I envy whoever has them, every time I go to someones town that has them I can't stop talking to them lol.

3 deer, 3 'birds' and 3 old favourites, counting Cube twice.

Zell - I didn't think I'd like the smug personality, but Zell has won my heart and soul. He is possibly my favourite villager ever now.
Diana - Absolutely gorgeous looking deer, she is hands down the best looking villager in my opinion.
Fauna - Pretty sure she was the first new villager I saw, she seems so cute and I just feel drawn to her.
Molly - The second new villager I saw. I always hated the ducks (other than Joey) but Molly is adorable, and it'd make a change from my usually duck-less towns.
Cube - My favourite villager from GC. And my first true favourite villager. He'll always hold a special place in my heart.
Stitches - Favourite from WW, I used to block Stitches and Roscoe on their little island bit and chat and fish with them all day.
Elmer - And my favourite from CF. He was in my town from the start, and after 3 years he moved out on my birthday! And I deleted the town and restarted the day after he left. Could not have stayed there without him sunnily crossing the bridge between our houses every morning to greet me.
Twiggy - Shares my birthday, and also reminds me of the cockatiel I grew up with (for the first 18 years of my life!) by both being a yellow bird and her peppy character.


If I had those 8 in my town they would never be allowed to leave, and I'd have the last 2 slots rotate so I get some variety in town.

Olivia - She was an original GCN villager of mine. All these years and I still think about her. I just really grew to love her!
Cherry - She's right up my alley. Goth punk dog? Heck yeah! Lol.
Roscoe - I love his eyes. xD Plus my precious kitties name is Rosco. <3
Rodeo - I have a thing for evil demon bulls, kay? lol.

My other villagers I've just stumbled upon and love them so I just need those 4 to complete my village!

Tutu: My very best friend on AC. Ever.

Samson: My second favorite character. Ever.

Cole & Phoebe: their names are the same as my favorite couple on a tv series. Ever. XD

Jambette: AC:GC nostalgia.

Kiki: she looks like one of my cats. :3 if only her name was Baby.

I can't really think of any good reasons to list any other villages that I want..

I always thought that the ducks were pretty cute, and then I saw Molly. I immediately knew that I wanted her in my village. When she finally moved in, I was just...way too happy about it. And every day still, I d'awwww just seeing her walk around.

Koalas of all kinds have been favorites of mine. I know Canberra doesn't get a lot of love around here for not being "kawaii" enough or whatever, but I just love her to bits. She's just very sweet. She has to have an awesomely lovable side to have made me forgive her for moving onto my perfect windmill spot.

A lot of mine are from previous games..

Vesta - has always been my favourite villager and always will be, i can't bear the thought of having a town without her

Apple - I desperately want a hamster, and i think Apple is the cutest one!

Tangy - she was one of my best friends in the GC version of the game, i just think shes awesome, a long standing favourite of mine

Muffy - i love the sheep, and out of all the new sheep she is the coolest looking, and therefore as it would be silly to have a town full of sheep, as i love many more villagers, Muffy would be the second.

Freya - Loved her in gamecube, shes the only Wolf i really like

Bones - Favourite villager in WW, i love him, my favourite male villager ever tbh

Samson - A staple favourite in GC, one of the only jocks i truly like!

Alfonso - Loved him in WW, still love him.. just a cool alligator, the only dream villager in my town atm

Octavian - Had him in GC & WW, i just think he's great, and one of the best cranky's and i think its best to have atleast one of each personality in your town

Marshal - Alongside Apple & Muffy, he adds a bit of new character to the mix, out of the smug villagers he is my favourite and he is just so cute

Derwin: He was the first ever animal crossing character I saw

Poppy: Look at her.. what's not to love!

Molly: I saw her in a nintendo direct video and she looked adorable. I love the ducks in this game, they're all pudgy.

Rosie: One of my all-time favourite villagers.

Tom: He's just too cool :')

Flurry: (I have her in my town) the cutest hamster going!

FILBERT - Ahh, I love the squirrel villagers so much <3 Filbert is a pretty underrated squirrel imo, but I usually like the underrated stuff :]

HAMPHREY - What a cute little hamster trying to act "tough" with its clashing personality. I like most little mammals in the game, and Hamphrey is at the top of the list.

KIKI - I had her in Wild World and I need her in New Leaf right about now :3

I haven't seen all (possibly even half lol) of all the possible candidate villagers on New Leaf, but these 4 are definitely my top 10 alongside (special mentions): Marshal and Peanut.

Chow: He's so goofy looking and tsundere. c:

Agent s is my most favorite because we where BFF in WW and I love so much!

Muffy shares my Birthday Feb 14th and she pretty cool looking!

Anchovy: Because he's the best bird villager (I'm sorry Jay, Jacques and all the bird crew) you can have.
Rosie: I love her!
Egbert: He's the best neighbour of all games. Deal with it.
Deena: She's the best duck villager I know. And Pompom. And Bill. But Deena's cooler.
Queenie: Because yes.
Frank: Best. Eagle. Villager. Sorry Apollo fanboys.
Lily: My favorite frog villager.
Colton: I'm a weirdo, again.
Shari: Got her in my first ACNL save but it got corrupted... I miss her.
Aurora: WHO DOESN'T WANT AURORA!?
Hopper: He's awesome, not the best penguin but it's awesome.
Doc: Every town needs a smart villager. And so there's Doc.
Snake: Snake... Snake... SNA-- Wrong Snake. I like him.
Lobo: Again, who doesn't want him?

I really love Alice because I had her in WW and she was always so adorable. uwu And Lionel just because man, look at him. Why would you not want a semi-sophisticated lion. Everyone else on my dream team is basically because they're cute and funny. :I
