Your ACNL Life before you joined TheBellTree Forums?

Weeelll I've been reading the forum a bit before I joined, but before I started reading:
- Didn't know about dreamies
- Didn't know about voiding
- Didn't know about cycling
- Didn't know about mule characters
- Didn't know the plot reset thing
- Didn't know random items I wouldn't think twice about are immensely valuable / sought after to some people

I still haven't tackled paths or serious landscaping yet.

I already knew alot of the stuff when I joined tbt c: I just go here to hang out basically, and make a cycle thread for people here ^^

Generally if I hadnt joined any AC forums..

1. I would forever hate my villagers.
2. My town would be ugly af right now.
3. I would never be a collector.
4. My priorities would be balanced.
5. I would never write a single letter.
6. I would have minimal fun with the game.

All in all, AC forums changed my views of the game ~ ^^

It was exactly the same before I joined as it is now, but that's because I joined ACC long before I joined TBT. When I joined ACC, though, NL hadn't even been released yet, though. I believe that had I not accidentally found ACC, chances are I wouldn't have found TBT either, since I was referred from there, and I also wouldn't have been as into NL, or Animal Crossing in general, as I am now.

-I didn't know about dreamies
-I didn't Time Travel
-My town looked kinda boring
-Had bad villagers (cough Jambette cough)
-Didn't know my town layout was bad (no one told me that, I realized it on my own)
-Didn't know any cool tricks

And a couple more. I'm glad I joined the Bell Tree. :)

same as now with the difference that I never had the chance to get dlc foreign and streetpass items despite knowing of their existence because I'm the only player around here

I used to be friendly with all my villagers even if they weren't pretty. Trying to get back to that.
Forum ruined my first few months of NL.(my fault also) I'm enjoying my game more now. Who cares if the animal is ugly, they might just grow on you. (looking at you two Katt and Barold) Thats just my opinion though.
I still don't have a list of dreamies other than Bob
I still have plain old dirt paths (i like em)
I didn't really try to make my towns look nice.(its a work in progress now)
I still TT very little.(Its not my thing, I found it boring.)

Before BellTree I knew nothing. I didn't reset my town at all at the beginning for a good layout and starters (but I still never have reset my town), I didn't plot reset, I didn't know which villagers were valuable, I didn't have dreamies.

i found this forum like four months after i bought ACCF for the Wii back in 2011.

when i joined, all i discovered about ACCF were the hacks and the HDLC. there were no dreamies or cycling back then.

I didn't have paths, I had about 5 bells in my ABD at any given time, I ran in my town, I had the Bell Boom ordinance on, I TTed carelessly, the usual.

I was on the forums for wild world, but….

I've never cared about anything! Sorry! I love visiting all your perfect towns and watching your nervous ticks blossom into full-blown OCD, but I've never been able to do that in my own towns. I just laid my first ever path two days ago, and I don't even use it. It's just for looks.

I really do appreciate your enthusiasm and humor, though. And I DID get some great dream towns from you guys!

Well I didn't know ALOT of stuff that I do now, also the whole online community has helped make my town so much better :)

And I found out there was the 7/11 + Zodiac sets that are my favourites now :)
