So what was your life in ACNL before you joined?

- I played WAY less, now I play daily
- My town didn't have paths and stuff

And... yeah. Other than that, it hasn't been much different.

I was dead set on keeping all the villagers who moved into my town, nor did I know much about all the awesome villagers out there. I didn't know who was popular and wasn't. My town as it is is basically the same right now, but I'll probably try to make a serious layout when I've moved in all my dreamies.

Before I specifically joined TBT or any AC forum?
I joined AXA forum from the beginning. I read about the game and looked at the villagers.
But TBT helped me to get a lot of inspiration for my town, to get in touch with a lot of sweet and nice people, who are all willing to help and I got a lot of my dreamies..

  • Had no clue what dreamies were.
  • My town was filled with nothing but normal, boring flowers.
  • I had no pathways.
  • I didn't know about the diving trick, so I lacked PWPs.
  • My house was a complete mess due to the fact that I was unable to complete many sets.

My ACNL experience has changed a LOT for the better since I joined TBT. I learned a lot about trading, and was finally able to finish a few of the sets that I've been dying to finish for a while. I found a QR code for the perfect path in my town. Thanks to the diving trick, I'm able to unlock PWPs a lot faster and easier.

N/A. I found this forum before I even had ACNL, was looking for AC fansites to see what the fanbase was like while I was deciding whether to buy it.

I still don't care about dreamies though!

- I didn't know what Dreamies were
- I played more
- I didn't reset my town to get certain villagers.
- I actually had an okay sleeping schedule.
- I didn't Time Travel

I hated a lot of my villagers, but I was so scared of random move ins that I would hate more if I allowed my villagers to move away. For the first 2-3 months of playing, I had the same villagers that I hated. Also, I had no idea about plot resetting, so I was even more scared new villagers would move on top of things (like Flurry moving on top of my orchard ... I still hate you Flurry)

Now, I'm only 1 villager away from my dreamies, I have all my villagers in a neat row, and love my town.

- I didn't plot reset so I just had to deal with awful villagers moving in awful places
- I sold a lot of unorderable items because I didn't want them. I even sold or let my villagers buy a few items from the sloppy set until a friend of mine needed them, then I gave them to him.
- I didn't know about any of the foreign DLC, and even if I did I wouldn't have had a way of getting it
- I had very few people to talk about the game with, and none of them played as much as I did
- I didn't know hybrids were so desired so I would purposely trample them to get rid of the ones I didn't want

I didn't bother giving turnips a try (finally trying this week. Fingers crossed!) and I didn't have any DLCs/Event items from other regions. I've only been on this site for a few weeks vs. the months I've had NL so the only changes have been in items and hints on how to get PWPs haha

I'm not terribly active here, so my ACNL life would be pretty much the same, I guess. Except there was a time I stayed up all night to get Coco from cycling threads/auctions (I ended up getting her on another forum), and I know a bit more about villager popularity now. And got a few streetpass and Saharah items.

The biggest change is that I have another forum to read when I'm bored. <3

-I didn't know about villager popularity.
-I didn't have many bells/items.
-I didn't have paths.
Thank goodness I found this forum pretty early on, lol.

Haha, my ACNL life before I joined this place lasted about a week. But in that time:

  • I sold my perfect cherry not knowing what it was
  • I didn't write letters in my game at ALL
  • I didn't know how lucky I was to get two Tier 1 villagers (Lolly, Rosie) and a Tier 2 villager (Punchy) as starters
  • I had no idea this game would become so addictive. ;)

I didn't know about dreamies. I also didn't have many people to play with but now with the Train Station board I can mingle more. :)

- I had a life on the Internet
- I didn't care as much about town layout
- I never knew people had so much interest in dreamies
- I didn't know how to properly offer/price/trade for items in a fair way

But everything's pretty much the same - I'm also on Tumblr, so...

I'm addicted to just checking the forums in general, even on my phone. Even when I'm inactive on the game ~ Active forums are just lovely to me. xD

- No pathways
- Honestly very messy town ( ex.: flowers scattered in random places
- Trees in random places
- Bad villagers

i could give a list
