I've seen the top ten overall posters section =PComatose said:The activity boom was great (nice to meet all of you awesome newbies), but I think TBT has always been the best in the in-between periods when there was a really tight sense of community.John102 said:Haha, could be =PComatose said:I blame Pally not getting on today.John102 said:What use is a forum if no one posts? I guess this isn't really a TBT is dead topic, but more of a cry out for the old TBT topic...Comatose said:Yeah, I don't think TBT is anywhere close to dying.
There are plenty of people on. They're just not posting as much.![]()
You were here through most of TBT's existence, did you like the high activity times when ACWW, and ACCF came out, or did you prefer the in between periods? Did you have any close bonds with people that left the forum(Smart?) I'm just wondering, because I assume you've been through TBT's high and lows.
I think Gethsemane nailed it right on the head with his post. That will most likely be the continuos cycle of just about any forum, but as long as people keep posting we don't have to worry about it dying anytime soon. This is a lot more active than it was right before it almost died before City Folk came out. A new AC comes out, and activity will boom again, perhaps more than we've ever experienced before.
I do miss some of the older members. I know how to contact most of them, but there are a few (like Smart) whom I don't know how to contact, and I really do miss them a lot.
BTW, how did you know about Smart?
Yeah, I tend to look back at past threads made though. From my understanding he was here since the forum started, a mod at Nsider, then he basically left all of a sudden just to come back a month or two later saying he was gone for good, although he might visit every now and then. I've read up on my TBT history.
