Bolded for your reading.
Read my post above, I'm not even talking about whether I'm a noob or not, I'm saying playing AC does not contribute to being a noob or not <_<
Oh, I'm sorry, I was posting!
And yes I know that, but this is the major point in all this. Sure, you still play AC, alot of people don't.
Really, I don't see how it makes you a nub, but then I don't care. I'm just pointing out that you have been here a short time.
Yeah, I was never even talking about whether I was a noob or not, because one person's view doesn't really bother me B)
No, I know you weren't. Somebody else brought it up.

Yep, settled then.

There's one person who I'm hoping gets the cut... I think they deserve it more than anyone here, for many reasons. I'm not saying who, though. Hopefully it will be good news when the mods are picked.

Same, I have someone in mind. I wonder if we're thinking of the same person :D

Well I did once make a good mod....
And let me tell you something, you will be a liked mod for starting your own things up on the forum, such as back when I ran sig making contests, or ran a team rocket group for a short time, or there was my now decaying cafe that has been restarted at least 3 times.

Point being be more active than I am now, I'm really still a mod just cause I occasionally help with reports and stuff, very rarely.

This is part of why we need new mods, cause people like me in my last semester in college, with 18 credit hours, and a bf, and a job just don't get on like I used too.

Know that as a mod you will be looked up to especially by newbies, I actually remember when some people were starting on the forums, heck I used to make sigs for people and normally with pretty damn good results, I loved the one I made for Grawr when he was Gengar

Nice sig and thanks, that was helpful :D

I think some people who are applying don't actually realise how much work mods do.

Thank you! That was probably my first sig made for a different member.

And correct that how much mods used to do :-p

I wish I could be more active, but I just don't have the time right now.

At the end of this semester though I am free, and will hopefully have a fun online treat for people here... making a flash game for my final project and would love to see how people here like it :3

Here are my reasons and explanations for them on why I would like to be a Moderator at The Bell Tree:

1. It is a learning experience.

When I think of the word "Moderator", I also think of the word "test". To me, becoming a Mod here at TBT is similar to the greatest test I could ever take or go though here. As a Mod, you need to know what is right and what is wrong, solve those rights, control thread spam, stop trolling and flamming, and resolve cituations when they arise. You must also obey the people that have much more authority and power than you (in this case, Jeremy), or else you will face the consequences. If you mess up or make a mistake, you need to find out what to do to correct it, correct it, and then re-look over what you just did and learn from it. There are many other examples you can use for the test, but these are the most common scenarios.

I believe I am ready for the test.

2. I care about what is right for The Bell Tree.

Before these Mod Applications opened, I saw many, many ordinary everyday members breaking TBT's Board Rules, and STILL see it today. Spam has accumulated like I have never seen it before. Trollers starting Flame Wars and mocking other members and their threads is not rare. Flammers are about at every corner. I am not saying that this Forum has gotten so bad that it needs to shut down or close or anything like that, but it has gotten pretty careless around here. New members are joining TBT everyday, and them seeing some of these "lawbreakers" could help promote more uncleanliness around this Forum.

I believe I can help stop this problem.

3. It gives me a chance to get to know the community.

I will say right here and right now: I love the members here at TBT. I have made many friends here and never wish to leave them. They have helped teach me valuable lessons and answers to lots of questions that I have asked myself time after time. Maybe I take this internet Forum stuff to seriously, but I just know that this kind of stuff can heavily affect my life. I also enjoy helping and teaching other people (if they need or accept my help), and, of course, have a great time. Becoming a Mod can help you make new members and even veteran members look up to you, like a student to his mentor.

I believe, if I try my best, I could make much more friends here and create positive impacts on others.

These are my reasons for why I would like to become a Moderator here at The Bell Tree. Good luck to you all with your Mod Applications!

Well, the mods have been announced, so I guess it won't hurt to say yes, I was talking about Andrew. I didn't want him to be mod just because he's my boyfriend, though. >_> Honestly, I think he's fit for the part more than anyone else here. I'm not saying that the Comatose and Kazooie shouldn't have been chosen, because I'm sure they'll make great mods, and my congratulations goes out to them (and Miranda for becoming admin). But Andrew is much more experienced than probably anyone else here with being staff on a forum, and forum software in general. He was on the ACC staff for a long time, and then he went on to run his own Animal Crossing forum, Diamond Luster, on InvisionFree. He later moved DL to a forum he built himself from scratch, and rebuilt it yet again to make it even better. And I don't have to tell you how nice, kind, and smart he is, as you've probably heard that a million times by now from me. =p He's also working on a special project that I can't say much about...

About me not being chosen, I am disappointed that I won't be able to do all of the things I'd like to do for the community (something that I hope the new mods will do, because we really need something more to this community), but for the most part it doesn't bother me. I just think being on the staff would be a really good thing for me, as it would give me something else to do on my free time, and it would make me a more organized person. But at least now I still have all the free time that I do to spend with my boyfriend and playing video games. =p
