I usually change the time on the DS than in game. It works perfectly and you can take as many days as you want as long as you TT to the correct day :)

Is this new?? When did this happen? Because I plot reset and villager reset most of my older villagers using the in-game clock. :<

What do you mean? I've plot reset for hours, even days... I just make a new save file each time. Is there a limit?
Now I'm wondering this too
Because one time I plotted for a week and I was okay because I made a new save file every time

Me too, I've never changed the system clock. I just plot reset Lolly yesterday with the in-game clock, had no problem.

Thats what happened to me with Pietro
I changed the clock in game to 5:59 am
Made a new character one time his plot was there and when I tried making a new character again his house was plotted in the same spot that is plot was and his house was there and he was inside.

unfortunately no. you can only plot reset a few times

no clue where you got this information. You either plot or you cant there isn't some sort of number limit to resetting the game.

Im guessing some people set the time and didnt log off their mayor fast enough for the new day to be reset? I know that with the new update villagers tend to plot on the same spot multiple times before they start to move. Setting the time to 5:58 on the next day, then saving and quitting, and then creating a new save file after 2-3 minutes should show a different version of the next day every time.

Two questions:
1. Do you have Welcome Amiibo installed?
2. How many tries did it take, roughly?

Yes and about 5 xD (this time, usually it takes forever). I went about putting paths in places where I had space but didn't want Lolly to place her home. I did forget two spots covered with trees that I didn't think about and so it took longer than I think it would have if I had just filled those spots with paths as well. I actually got her in the spot I wanted on the second try but I wanted her to move up a space so I tried again

At 5:59 it's to risky because at 6 he there
It should have been 5:58 maximum

Yeah, the way I did it yesterday was set clock to 5:57am, save and quit as soon as the game loaded. Actually, the first time I did a new save file, I did it too quickly after saving/quitting and she hadn't plotted anywhere yet. So I reset and waited a bit and then went back with a new save file and found her plot.

I thought plot resetting was broken with the update? This is great news! I once spent 3 days and over 80 new save files (I named them in order... lol) resetting for the perfect place for T-Bone. But since villagers can't move on to QR tiles anymore, I don't even bother resetting. I just have a few spaces in my town I left a 3x3 square for, and the rest has a QR code every 2 spaces.
