Would you rather have an update with all the quality of life improvements we've all been hoping for but no new content at all and will have to wait 6 months for the next update, or a bunch of new content but no quality of life improvements ever? Just thought it might be fun to think about it hehe

QoL in AC has always been garbage. I can deal with the absurd dialogue-based menu options and buying NMT one-by-one.

I'd rather wait 6 months for more content than never get any QoL improvements- At least that way we would get both things in the end instead of just one. Manually sorting my inventory and terraforming have been killing me lately.

The quality of life isn't so bad. Real life isn't perfect as well, why should AC have to be perfect? I prefer a big update, by far. Me getting the Roost is so much better.

how often would the new content updates be though? i feel like i might want a QoL update first with how unsatisfied I am with several things about this game. i mean based on the what if situation of this, it sounds like there would be a content update every 6 months anyway so why not just go for the QoL

Definitely going with new content. I've gone 3 months without QoL changes, and have survived. Going that long without the new content could be tough. I'm banking on a nice July update to push me through to the fall season.

I would rather have the quality of life improvements, because of how tedious some tasks can be and also how they hinder my enjoyment of the game.
Another reason is because i've found some of the updates underwhelming.

I'm pretty sure no one would choose to have qol updates if no new content will ever be added again. That "what if" scenario is definitely gonna go one way only, in my opinion.
