Would 4 lazy villagers be very excessive....

I already have 3 who are not leaving me, isn't an option really.
I just love that personality and there's so many lazy villagers I like, the last one (as I would just have to limit it to 4) would be Punchy.
And I would be replacing him with a personality I only have one of since I got almost every PWP unlocked now.
What do you think?
So far I haven't found conversations repetitive or boring but I love them all so much so that's possibly why....
4 lazy villagers, is it too many?

I think if you want 4 lazy villagers, then it's not too many. It's your town, after all, if you want 4 lazy villagers then go for it.

If you're fine and okay with it, then it's not a problem

It's a free game, you can do whatever you want as there is no set-standard for the game itself. For the rest spot of 6 villagers, you can have one of each personality left; smug, uchi, normal, cranky, snooty, and jock and you'll still have all personality but get to keep all the lazies you love!

I don't think it's excessive if you love it!

I was just wondering because I know people like to have a mix of personalities in their town, although I guess I don't have to do what others do. Lazy villagers are just so cute and sweet to me. They always have the sad eyes when you can't do something for them, they're just like baby animals who need looking after
I think I was also worried because I have 2 smugs and 2 cranky villagers who I also couldn't lose....it's difficult since some personalities I just don't like a single design and I really struggle to make friends with uchis

Yeah, why not? My town is mostly smugs and they are cute asf t be honest. Sure I might not get the peppy and uchi pwp's but as long as I like them I'm fine

See it makes it a bit easier for me since the inoy PWP's I'm missing are 2 jock ones and some peppy's (which I wasn't going to use anyway). There's just one jock one I'm waiting on and then I think I'll just go ahead with it....cycle out Bam and get Punchy. He's just adorable.

On a seperate issue - does anybody know how to stop a villager changing their shirt?
I changed the designs in able sisters but they're just wearing the ones I've replaced them with (plain black or white).
Any way to prevent this?

You can send them shirts, sometimes they will wear them. Also i think they will eventually start wearing the replacements if you give it some days

You should change the shirt design in the able sister by switching them into umbrellas or hat design. As long as I experienced, no villager could wear a design displayed on umbrella or hat. Hope this helps!

No. I believe there's actually people who has more than 5 of the same personality and I find it cute.

If you don't mind it then it should be fine but later down the road, you might find the dialog repetitive and you might miss out on new conversations like during events and holidays. You can always get new villagers at that time though. If you don't like any villagers for certain personalitiess, it might not ever be an issue for you.

They'll all say the same things repeatedly, but if that doesn't bother you: go for it!

If you want to have 4 villagers of the same personality, then go for it. I wouldn't do that because it'd be a little bit repetitive but if having them because you like them makes up for it, there's no problem at all.

Not at all. Lazies are my favorite personality, too and at some point I had Ozzie, Beau, Zucker and Erik at the same time for quite a while. Ultimately I got a little bored hearing the same dialogue all the time and now I've only got Ozzie and Erik but in general I think, there's no such thing as too many lazies

You've all made me feel significantly better about having 4 of the same personality. Plus I noticed this morning, Beau was saying something about cake (I was button mashing a bit as in a hurry so I missed the whole thing) but I'd never heard Erik or Zucker say the same thing before....not sure if there's may slight dialogue differences at times?

I think to be honest I wouldn't even mind they repeating themselves. As it is now it doesn't bother me and I've had Zucker and Erik for a while.
I really don't think I'll regret my decision or I hope not at least haha

Ah you sound just like me!! The only one I don't have off your list is Ozzie, I think maybe I should stop at 4
Possibly make my second town a bit more diverse so I kind of get the best of both worlds

I love lazy villagers I have 2 that are staying forever (Jeremiah and Punchy). Lazy is my favorite personality in the game :3
