Worst luck you've had playing ACNL?

What would you say is the unluckiest (or one of) moment(s) you've had?


For me it would have to be having an excellent town map and Circle Grass, but I had Pears which look atrocious on trees.

Also gotta say when I tripped and destroyed my only Black Rose once.

Someone on club tortimer gave me millions of bells but as I went to deposit them I disconnected

Erik moving out of my first town in 2013, well before Amiibo cards were a thing. Thanksgiving was the day before, and prior to the update villagers moved out within 5 days instead of 10, so I couldn't catch his ping in time. That was a sad week ;_;

Trading someone millions of bells just to be disconnected. Since then I made a point of saving every so often while trading to avoid re-doing the whole thing, and instead only re-doing a bit if it happens.

I also had an unwanted villager from a void plot on top of perfect cherry trees, right in front of a beach ramp, and didn't move for almost a year.

I didn't want a single Smug PWP in Feldspar except for the Cube Sculpture, so naturally that was the last PWP Lionel suggested. I got so excited every time he pinged me and so annoyed immediately afterward.

having my fav villager move out (Fang) then not getting his picture, having jacques move out right afterwards and not getting his pic either, and finally, i do this thing where i ave all my villagers moving out letters... i accidentally deleted his DX
i've moved on though. i found villagers i liked more. his replacement was cherry, who was one of my absolute dreamies. but i was still sad D':

hardly getting any PWP's i wanted, took em ages to ask for one as well even when i did the diving trick. i give up now

Not realising that Timbra had already plotted when I went to adopt Chief from another town. I couldn't work out why Chief wouldn't agree to move to my town, went back and saw the plot.

I couldn't kick her out quickly enough, she barely had time to unpack.
