Worried about my game ;-;

I'm seriously worried my game is gonna get corrupted or something...

It sometimes freezes for a couple of seconds, and a bit ago, my whole screen went black
It also took longer than usual to save the game.

I was wondering if anyone could, help me; is my game going to be corrupted? Is there something I can do?

My game is a digital version btw ;-;

The digital version does tend to have quite a few problems. Unless you're doing something that may increase your chance of having the save file corrupted then I wouldn't worry too much.
I've heard an awful lot of people having problems with the this type of thing unfortunately.
How long have you had the game?

It might just be your DS as well. I wouldn't worry too much unless it happens VERY often.

It may well sort itself out, and as far as I know save files being corrupted isn't common occurrence when you're just playing the game as its meant, without taking any risks I mean.

I would be devastated and seriously worried if anything like that was happening to me, we put so much into this game.
So I can understand where you're coming from.
Keep an eye on it but as the person above says it could also be your ds, especially if the screen is going black?

I had a similar thing happen to me and I have the cartridge. Seems to be fine now though. Fingers crossed it doesn't corrupt Nightmares - it's such a panic to think you will lose your town that you've worked so hard on!

It might be your DS

It also could be that your Animal Crossing is overwhelmingly trying to make more room for it on your DS

Because my digital Mario (came with my 3DS) had the same issue as above

Now and then my game (cartridge) would take forever to save, and it turns out it was something to do with the Wi-Fi. Now I keep the Wi-Fi switch turned off unless I need it, and it solved that problem.
As for the other issues, I don't know. I wish you luck, though!

If anything happens maybe you could trasnfer your digital data to a cartidge one? I know a catridge version can be converted to a digital version so I'm thinking it might work for both ways? I hope the game doesn't have any trouble, does hacking and tricks trigger things to go into chaos faster? xc

And yeah, stuff like hacking, powersaving, etc makes your chances of corruption a lot higher.
I heard if you turn the power off while saving, there's a 100% chance of your game corrupting, and you'll be stuck in a timeloop unless you restart
