I hold sessions on a fairly regular basis - usually on the weekend (Sat-Sun-Mon for me) but sometimes on work day evenings. How often it happens depends on the villager cycling - if I get good villagers and have to wait for people to come adopt them, then acquiring enough weeds to hold a session takes a bit longer.

Hi, i am trying to get a weed town to help other aswell, may i know how you generate a lots of weed?
currently i do not have a town permit, and i timetravel 50 year ahead, but doesnt generate much.

First thing, make sure you DO NOT have the Beautiful Town ordinance in effect.

Because I cycle for villagers, as well as weeds, I use the Original Method described in the first post of this thread.

After 10 or 11 repeats of the 1 year/1 year/5 days cycle, my town has generated approximately 1200 weeds, at which point I hold a weeding session.

New Session - Wednesday, November 19 - Town of CHEERS​

I have two cycling/weeding towns - Whoville and Cheers.
I invite you to come work on your weeding badge when weed count reaches over 1,000.

First three people to reply can come pick.

If you know you have wifi problems, please be considerate and do not sign up.​

Rules:

DO: Wait until all visitors have arrived and until I speak to Leif. Once the counter starts, then you can start weeding.

DO: Speak with Leif after weeding is done to get your gift. He is usually located close to my character's house.

DO: Pick up any gift I have left for you by the station - usually carnations and/or ore or extra flower furniture. Please feel free to do this while you wait for the counter to start.

DO NOT pick the perfect fruit.

DO NOT pick the clovers.

DO NOT speak to the villagers.

DO NOT leave on your own once the event is done. When everyone has spoken to Leif, I will end the session.

I will save every so often - just in case of wifi problems. If Resetti does show up, I will restart on a new date so that Leif comes back. I can do this only once as a second time would mess up my cycling.

Please note that I only pick one or two weeds so I can get the gift. I am not working towards a badge, so the weeds are all yours. I will spend my time picking clovers and digging up the gyroids that have accumulated.

Please note that this is a cycling town - I often void villagers. Please do not visit if you do not want to take the risk of acquiring an unwanted villager.
