So, most of the bugs come in the plastic critter containers, which don't look nice at all.
However, Sterling had a bug in a wooden cage in his home ! And I found out that it's the grasshopper that has this style change for its cage.

Are there any others that are in the wooden cages when displayed?

Okay!
Here's more I found.
Ants - Ant Farm

Plastic Cages
Bugs (Green Lid) - 80-200 Bells when sold
Bugs (Yellow Lid) - 250-799 Bells when sold
Bugs (Pink Lid) - 800-12000 Bells when sold
New Bugs introduced in City Folk - purple lid
New Bugs introduced in New Leaf - blue lid
Diving Beetle - Water inside
Walking Leaf - Green ground

AAAA, Ty !! This is really, really helpful !!
It's a shame we can't go to Cyrus' and have cages changed.... The plastic cages really are unsightly.

Ok, I'm going to do something that you probably don't need.
I have all the bugs, fish and deep-sea creatures in my secret storage.
I have a question.
Should I make a list to help some people with your same problem?
I feel like it might be useless.

For all the cages? You should probably make a new thread with all that information, so you can get max credit for all that work !! I'm sure it'll help some people, I didn't know the fish or deep sea creatures had any difference in their cages. :o

Yep, I should.
And yep, some fish, like goldfish have different cages.
Goldfish had those cute circle bowl tanks.

:0 Finally finished with the bugs, I'll work on the fish...maybe after dinner or tomorrow afternoon. Anyway, some people can check it out.

Wugh, ok. The fish was a bit hard to do. I actually researched on what plants the fish had. So, I called it pothos. Also, I noticed when you place items, you go front, left, right. I should do that for paths.

YOU DID THE PLANTS??? That's so much detail..... You are a research angel ! lol

Thanks! Just doing the deep-sea creatures, then I'm done. :0

:0000000, okay... Finally finished the list. It took a while, my secret storage is now not in chronological order anymore and hopefully someone will need it. :3

Thank you for sharing you finds and making a detailed list. I didn't know some bugs were in wooden cages when displayed in your home. Now I wanna add some to my garden room. :)

2nd try, I want to see if I can be more specific on terrain. This time, I'll use examples on it.
Hopefully, I can be really accurate.
