Wood Eggs And Stone Eggs

How do I get wood eggs? Shaking trees or harvesting wood with an axe?

Same question for stone eggs: Breaking rocks or merely smacking them with my shovel?

Wood eggs by chopping the tree to get wood. Theres a chance rather than wood you get an egg.

For the rocks just hit it with a shovel. The eggs have the same chance as iron ore appearing. Dont break them!
