I`m on 4 million at the moment, but the only thing I really spend big on currently is GracieGrace items, to get all sets I want. I`m not a completionist, so I don`t need that much money. Although I am thinking of adding a 3rd mule character, but that would mean I have to go back to bug farming, since the stalk market is to big a risk if you can only travel to other towns in dreams....

I used to beetle farm a lot until I got tired of it. Now I use the stalk market whenever I wake up early enough to buy from Joan at a good price.
About 7.5 million bells is my top.

I used to do a lot of furniture/clothing selling, but now I stick with mostly turnips and selling villagers.

Honestly, I was quite poor when I joined this site and in a way, I owe a lot of my "riches" to TBT.
Some ways in which you can make bells relatively quickly -
1. Turnips. Buy a million worth of turnips and use the Train Station to find a town that buys them for above 500 bells each (600 and above is always a plus but it's not always easy to come by).
2. Accumulate TBT bells and sell them. I sold 1,000 TBT bells for 8 million last time.
3. Set up a shop - sell Saharah items that you'll never use, villager photos, fortune cookie items or basically anything rare that people may want to buy.
3. A fourth way for me personally was to get a 2nd copy of the game, reset for popular villagers and sell them off. I managed to sell Julian for 20 million, Erik for 11 and Fang for 7.5 so that brought in quite a bit of money.

Half of those I got off beetle hunting. Yeah, it's more tedious than turnip-ing, but the island music at night helps me sleep. xD The other half is from villager selling.

All of these are already budgeted though. House expansions, PWPs, etc. I'm in the middle of cycling so I haven't done any of those, but once I'm done all those bells are gonna go poof real quick.

I'll start on turnips eventually. xD
