Wish i could uproot my villagers to a new town

I'm really starting to hate the layout of my town but i don't have the heart to restart as i love my villagers atm and have put alot of money and effort into my town. Wish we could uproot our villagers elsewere lol.

I hear you! I would have sold my town instead of doing a fresh start, but I love (most of) my villagers too much. All in all, though, I am happy with my town again!

I'm totally the same. I have come to dislike certain choices of layout in my town, but I can't delete it, I got too many of my dreamies, even if it least one of them is in the wrong part.
Shame we can't allow our villagers to have a vacation to allow us to change any layout problems. XD

omg i hate the campsite so much. it?s ugly and a waste of valuable space. i refuse to build it in my new town but i?m stuck with it in my town i?ve had since launch day. ;-;

I was in that predicament a while ago, but I think it's easier than you'd think to get your villagers back, if you catch the villager-trading forum at a good time. I've been tempted to buy a second copy of the game just so I can start a new town and then move in villagers from my old town that are leaving... Ofc, you'd need a second DS ;_;

I know, I know...I really want to move all my villagers to the left side (widest) and not near me (right-side, narrowest). It's driving me crazy, I tell you!

Ugh, agreed. I didn't know very much about ACNL when I first started playing. I didn't know much about PWPs or Re-Tail or anything! So I kind of just picked a random map. Omg, I absolutely hate it. All my villagers crowd next to my house. I have huge, open spaces everywhere else, BUT 1) Pietro moves to the left of my house, 2) Timbra is to the right, 3) Zucker is just above Timbra, 4) Vesta is just below Timbra... on top of this, Re-Tail is within a few steps of all of their houses. There's just no breathing room where my house is.

When my wife started playing, we took more consideration into what her town map should look like and where she could build some of the bigger PWPs. I like her map so much more. Her house is alone, with a nice piece of land in front of it where she grows her rose garden. Her villagers are scattered along the other side of the river. It just looks much more cohesive and clean.

I think I might one day sell my town. My wife plays so she can hold onto all my important items and bells. I have all my favorite characters' amiibo cards, so I can just have them all move back in. We recently got the new Pikachu 2DS XLs... if I'm really motivated, I guess I can have two towns on two separate DSs lol
