Winter weather is so depressing in acnl.

Can't plant trees.
Dark clouds.
Dead grass.
Half covered snow atm.
Dull colors.
It's like night time 24/7.


As my first winter season in acnl.


Does this get better?


Also, I forgot to plant cedar trees before winter..so no pretty lights.

You can plant trees during winter though, you still have until the 15th I think to see the cedars lighted up!
We get sunny days during winter too! Today in my town there are only a few, distant clouds, it looks beautiful!

I personally love winter. I love how the snow and everything looks, it's an eternal winter wonderland, there are the northern lights like jekojiru said, there's snowman! I love making them all around town, esp near the villager's houses! Sometimes winters needs some landscaping, but it's my second favourite season in ACNL (and in real life too!)

Aw, you won't always have dark clouds! Right now it's bright blue skies in my town which offsets the snow beautifully. You also still have time to plant cedars so I say go for that!

And I agree with jekojiru - there's something so so beautiful about the northern lights and I always think that meteor showers are so beautiful in wintertime.

Blue skies in my town today. I think the snow looks pretty at night when the lights come on. And the igloos at the campsite are adorable! Try to think of happy things. The snow will be gone before you know it and then there's 9? months of grass! LOL

I love winter in NL, it's sunny in my main town. Such a lovely blue daytime sky and my villagers won't shut up about seeing the Northern Lights tonight.

Too bad it's cloudy in the other town and snowing.

I hateee winter in ACNL. My landscaping just clashes with all the stark whiteness everywhere... but there are some nice days I guess. Idk about other users but I had a really hard time growing certain hybrids in the winter, but maybe it was just my luck.

Northern lights, building snowmen, watching snow fall, lights on cedar trees at night, Toy Day, the noise you make when you walk in snow, all crunchy crunchy, it's so cute, what's not to love? Winter is my favorite season in the game!

Cedars only grow in the northern half of town. If you try to plant them too far south they will die, so that could be your issue too.

I've been waiting a very long time for winter in NL. Personally, I find fall much more depressing, with all the brown grass and trees. With winter, everything becomes white and sparkly. It's like magic.

I like winter in AC. It snows a lot more in my town than it does where I live IRL. The snow with little stars is the best, though I'm not sure which grass type has it. And the northern lights are so pretty!

In fact, if I get a second copy of AC:NL for Christmas I'm going to make a town where it's always winter ^^

I like the snow and the northern lights at night are really pretty, but I wish the snow would also cover the dirt patches because they look ugly among all the snow.
