I just feel the film/book (but particularly the film) encourages women to stay in battered relationships and is a very controversial issue for me.....
The BDSM is done all wrong.... she uses a safe word and it keeps going.... it puts a bad name to BDSM and romanticizes domestic abuse. That's my opinion, and the opinion of SEVERAL others.

It's also my opinion. But shaming housewives (which I am) isn't the way at all to get your point across about how you feel about 50 Shades. Why post your feelings about such a controversial subject on a thread just meant for giggles? Or on an Animal Crossing site for that matter?
