Right off the bat, I already like how you've got paths on your plaza, and they're attractive paths at that. I always do a run around the plaza at first, before I choose an off shooting path to go down. I really like the tulip/carnation flower combo! I also like the wind-y path that goes up to the bridge.
The only thing I'd say about is, I'd mix up the mushrooms a bit. (Unless you're farming for mushrooms or something and this is just an organized spot.. if that even makes sense lol) But anyways, maybe some white violets? Also, idk if you've got this as a PWP yet or if you plan to keep your current path, but I'd change your bridges to the brick ones if you can. I know sometimes PWP placing can be such a pain! So if you're nervous about attempting switching them out, I totally understand bc this is how I ended up only have one bridge in my town, because I literally have NO other place available for one.
I also love the little run jump you have! The black/white rose combo used here is nice, too! (I have a thing for flower combos, so get ready to hear this complement a lot lol).
Your path with the stone/clover is my hopeful endgame path! I love it! The way you have the Cafe sort of tucked away is so cute. I enjoyed running along the path to it :]
Also the area around the campsite is adorable! I love the Jacobs latter/cedar tree fencing.
Your retail area is so nice and so cozy! Mine in smack dab in the middle of the map! I love how yours has it's own little nook.
O.m.g. This view though?
You seem to have a lot of open space, so a lot of landscaping left to do. This made me feel like my town is so small compared to yours, because everything is all filled in. But I think since you have all this space, a play ground would be super cute! (If you like the look of the PWPs) Maybe a yellow, pink, white theme for flowers? I'm jealous of your windmill PWP, I wish I had it!
The whole area you have in front of your house so gorgeous! I loved it! I used to have a fountain in front of my house as well :] This area is so nice and so well put together. It's so natural! That bare section in front of the stump, I think a water well would look nice there! Or maybe the water pump. The exterior of your house is really pretty, too. If I didn't have a forest themed town, I'd probably go for something super similar.
The area in front of your Town Hall is also really nice! I had came across the building and I was like, "oh this is nice." And then I followed the path town and I was like, "OH! THIS is NICE!" I love it, even if it's a WIP!
I really like this wind-y path! If you add a bunch of bushes and flowers, I think it will give it the same feel that you have around the retail. Enclosed and cozy. Maybe a water well with some coins around it, or the water pump. Maybe a street lamp PWP. (the one that's wooden) along the path.
I'm also jealous that you have the water fountain PWP! And I like the flower combo around it. This was another cozy part of the town that I really liked! I have a nice shot of my mayor here, but I'm going to take it easy on the pics for just a bit before I add more ^.^
That area between the two ponds, with the 5 space in between. I LOVE IT. And I don't know why! Who likes a whole bunch of ponds in their town? No one, usually! But I really liked this! If the game will let you, I think the illuminated arches or the flower arch OR the wisteria trellis will look nice here! Maybe some cedars and bushes, along with the clover/stone path here. I really, really liked this little spot and I kind of wish I had something similar in my town. It's really unique and even in hacked towns I've never seen something similar.
I have a bunch of shots of my mayor and of ones with her hidden behind trees where its just a few cedars, bushes, flowers, and a pond. I really like the look of this. The spacing is really nice, even though it may be unintentional. I have my town jam-packed and I've been trying to reduce the flowers to get a similar look. It's open and natural. It's not too cramped or messy.
I feel like the tower and modern lamps don't really fit in with the rest of the town, though. I personally would replace the tower with maybe another fountain pwp, or maybe a wisteria trellis just for looks, not use as a path. But that's just me :]
Something dumb I did (Please dont judge, it's 3-4am as I do this lol)
The beach up stairs is super cute! I've seen backyards and things, but I really like this!
I grilled some hot dogs, played some vollyball with the guys, worked on my tan, and built a sand castle! I don't usually like these kinds of rooms, and I go for more realistic ones- ones you'd see an actual house, but I thought this was really cute and I enjoyed it! Everything is placed so nicely and I like how you didn't dress the mannequins up the same, you gave them their own little outfits, which came with their own personalities :] I named them Tom and Jeremy :] Jeremy is the cool dude in the back. I took A LOT of pictures in this room!
This aesthetic tho. Come landscape my town? I ran through your Jacobs latters, are you mad? ahah!
I really like Wolfgangs little area. I think a bush/tree stump fence in front of it going along the path would look cute. That way you could still the landscaping behind it, but also so it wouldn't be bare in front of it :]
I noticed how the flower combos matches or went with the house they were around, I really like that! I love the idea of giving each villager their own little yard, I unfortunately don't have enough space in between or around houses to do this in my town, but you do! So I'd use this idea!
The little picnic nook is also really cute! I'd do a yellow/pink rose combo, or a white violet with yellow or pink counterpart flower.
My mayor was happy to see this little spot, she thought, yay! free food!
I wish you and your town well! I really enjoyed it! Bye!
