So, let me get this straight: You'd rather pay $700 more to not be able to download anything then download a free program that takes 2 minutes to run? Everyone knows about it.

This debate makes less and less sense.
No, Macs don't just run faster, they have better software on them.

They have iMovie, a free equivalent to Sony Vegas, Garageband so you can record voice, edit it, learn instruments and other things, there's iWeb for making websites easily and quickly and there's iPhoto which is really clever actually, you can set a face to be ]Do you know how much money you would save if you simply got a PC with the same specs and bought the software independently?
Ok then, I'll continue. My Macbook can last 7 hours without being plugged in. It's got built in BlueTooth so I can have my phone connected to my Macbook for quick file transfer.
My laptop runs that long as well, and I have the option of taking the battery out, and carrying another around with me that is fully charged during travel when I am unable to plug in the charger at the time. So in reality, it lasts longer.
What's your point? I can take my battery out of my MacBook Pro just as easily.

I just want to add this in again because it's awesome: LIFETIME WARRANTY > 1 YEAR WARRANTY

EDIT: The Eee Seashell can last 8 hours and the battery can be take out, so yiu can carry another battery with you. 16 Hours > 7 Hours
So? The customer service is far better with Apple, I'd much rather just renew my insurance every year. The customer service with Apple is just direct through to Apple instead of wasting loads of money going from the company who makes the computer and then to Microsoft and then getting your computer taken away for repairs.

The guy in PC World told me that Apple can take control of my Mac to fix it without me even sending it in for repairs unless it's serious. I'd much rather have a 1 year warranty than having the hassle of getting a PC fixed.
1. Take away? Dude it's stupid little $300-$400 Netbook, if it DOES break just get a new one, buying three is cheaper than 1 Mac.
2. If you buy an Apple product you've already wasted loads of money.
3. That isn't comforting to a Schizophrenic.

Also, I just prefer the Mac interface to the PC's, it just seems less cluttered.

So I just wanted to mention this. The other day I was at a friend's place. He happened to own a Mac which cost him a total of $1400. It was a dual core @ 1.7 ghz, 2 GB of RAM, and a crappy third rate graphics card. Sure, it had nice eye candy, but that's all it had. After hearing me talk about PC gaming a lot, he decided to go for it, but couldn't download Steam. To make a long story short, he's currently using a low-end Mac which has Windows booted up on it. A very disappointing purchase for him.

I run steam on my mac. And on a small note, iTunes isn't as much as a *censored.4.0* on mac.

But personally I'm on Window's side.

Which is why I'm getting a $300 laptop.

Did I say Mac's couldn't do that as well? No.

My point was that on ONE fully charged battery, I am able to have the same battery life time as some stupid little Macbook.

Give me proof.

Install OS X on a normal computer so I don't have to go broke and sell a kidney.

So you admit that it's no better than a MacBook's battery.

Personally, I think Mac is more cluttered. Well, not really cluttered, but annoying and disorganized in certain aspects. For instance, instead of just clicking the X in an application to close, you have to go *Program file name*---> Quit program. It's annoying. ;__;

Just find a video, you'll see. Also, might I add, the "Genie effect" when you minimise a window on a Mac is enough to make you never want to use a PC again.

I know what Hackintosh is, so why don't I just install Linux? They both use a UNIX base.

And what's the "Genie Effect"?

What're you talking about? There's a red dot at the top left of every window on a mac, click that and it closes it.

Going through the whole process of Program name > Quit is just pointless unless you need to force quit.

Minimize a window, I dare you! Once you do it, I swear you'll never want to go back to all the fun you had on Windows. You like playing Starcraft, Dawn of War, and Team Fortress 2? Well, not anymore!

I never said that. You are pretty much twisting my words around, now.

I was just getting my point across because a few people have told me that Mac batteries last waaaay longer than any battery in a Windows bases computer. Obviously that was a lie seeing as how my battery lasts the same time as any given Macbook.

Genie Effect = Your window just get's sucked into the dock at the bottom in a cool way. You'd have to see it, I love it.

And bdubs, I still use the Desktop for gaming but it'd be much better with the genie effect.
