will the seasonal recipes change each year, or stay the same?

this is something i’ve just been wondering for a while. for example, will we get new cherry blossom items to craft next sakura season? or will it be the same set of recipes as this year? same with the summer shell recipes, mush recipes, etc. i get that it would probably be a lot of work for the developers to crank out a bunch of new models for unique items every season, but it would also get old real fast if the recipes were always the same. does anyone know the answer to this yet? google isn’t much help. ty in advance my beautiful people

i doubt the seasonal recipes will change, (i.e. the normal balloon recipes) but i do think they'll add in some new ones. for example i'm hoping they'll add some halloween themed recipes, and it seems likely to me based on what they did for easter.

While it would be cool that they would change, I don't see that happening. I can only see the way holidays work change for a couple years, then that's it.

While I doubt many new seasonal recipes will happen, I gotta wonder how the holidays are supposed to work once you've already gotten the recipes from last year. Like Bunny Day was about crafting all the things, but now that we've already crafted them all, come next April what will there be to do? Surely they have to change up something there to keep the events playable.

I'm hoping that new item sets will be added each year for the big holidays. Not sure how new players could get the old recipes, though...

I didn't craft all the bamboo/spring stuff that just went out of season, and have crafted little of the summer items... hope they come back, because I don't want to time travel nor have a bunch of stuff I am not using taking up inventory.

well, if previous games didn't have alternating holiday items i doubt we'll have that this time around. i dont think that the seasonal recipes will change either, and tbh i dont know if i want them to. i dislike gimmicky furniture in comparison to more practical furniture, so i hope that if we dont get new holiday or seasonal items to collect & make we get furniture sets from previous games (sloppy, minimalist, modern wood, etc.) and newer ones.

Maybe you could unlock the ability to customize holiday items. At least that would give a bit of incentive to repeat the event again or unlock holiday-themed options/tools for the Island Designer (ie. frozen river, spooky paths, egg cliff, etc).
