Will an animal crossing direct happen?

So do you think there will be an animal crossing direct? I was hoping for one this month...but since they just had a Pok?mon direct I doubt it will be this month. Hopefully next month at least. I hope they don?t just show off one trailer in a normal Nintendo direct I want a whole direct focused on animal crossing new horizons and showing off new features. Like show us some of the shops at least.

So I was expecting another teaser 20th Jan and the direct to be 02.02.20 since it's all 2's and they released the first teaser on the 2nd of Jan and it comes out 20.04.20 (•́ ॣ?̫ ॣ•̀,)՞
But then again, it could be 20.02.20 for the direct...

TBH at this point Nintendo is just trolling us. Pokemon DLC and a Smash presentation could have waited until after an Animal Crossing presentation, but they've shown that we are not a franchise that they want to shower love on.

i'm doubtful that we'll see one this month with the pkmn direct and the smash showcase, we might get one next month or even super early march. i feel like once we get even closer to release, we'll get lots of information on the game.

Probably early Feburary. I doubt it will get it's own but will probably be heavily featured in the general direct.

I don't know, I did all the statistics on Pokemon to main Direct and Nintendo just gave us this smash thing. I don't know if keeping us frustrated by lack of news is meant to build hype or what, but I'm getting ever more annoyed with Nintendo ignoring Animal Crossing

As much as I would love to see it, I don't really think there's going to be an animal crossing direct in January. They're focusing on smash and pokemon which is fine, but the game isn't that far away at this point and we all want to see more.

Last week Pokemon, this week Smash and imagine next week Animal Crossing. That would be neat, but not sure if possible, after all Nintendo is full of surprises. Maybe we are getting some information by the end of this month or sometime next month, either in form of a AC Direct or just a typical Nintendo Direct.

I'm feeling like they'll do one late January or early February, and then put Animal Crossing on blast. It's going to be so exciting when Nintendo goes all-in on Animal Crossing.

I've watched a few YouTube videos on this that all predict they'll release one at least some time next month which will make more sense. I'd be surprised to see it happen this month now.

I have noticed that nintendo has been updating us in chunks
july -> september -> jan 1st -> ?
Im beginning to think we wont get new information until the beginning of March 'cause to me it looks like they are doing (roughly) two month intervals. I'm not even sure if we are going to get a direct at all (which is ok with me so long as they give us another trailer or something).
